Guys I just got back from Houston. I was at the game and sat through the whole thing, and I can honestly say our Playcalling on both offense and defense is horrible. We need to get rid of Murlarkey and I'm not sure what Capers job is, but the defense play calling sucks too. None of our blitzes are effective, every time we blitz we get burned. and on offense early on in the game, we abandon the running game way to early, we don't use our best weapon, wich i feel is Ronnie Brown. It's not the players guys, the coaching is down right horrindous.:fire:

i dunno about the d...it played well enough for any offense to win...but mularkey, needs to start looking for another job.

the d would improve if we would run more.....

we cant play defense...if were on offense.

btw, the whole shotgun experiment has got to go.

I said that last week even tho ronnie had 90 i siad he needs more touches until dauntes healthy!!!!

play calling is hurting us on both sides of the ball, i totally agree. it really seems that the play calls do not put our guys in the best position for success. that is a coordinators job, put our boys in a position to make plays. it seems our play calling is not structured to fit our talent. mularkey and capers may both know a hell of alot about offfense/defense but they don't seem to know how to utilize our talent to maximize productivity, how many times will we watch zach get stoned at the line of scrimmage on 3rd. down??

Totally agree and have been saying so all night!! The calling was horrible, and not just offense, defense was horrible too.

Blitzing doesnt work, we have a good line, let them do their work and drop some extra bodies into the secondary which blows. For the love of god, where was the double cover on Johnson? That guy tore us apart play in and play out, ALL GAME! Short, medium, long, he looked like an all-star all game, yet there was just one person on the guy. Elementary stuff, neutralize their playmakers and let your own do their jobs. Taylor was wrecking havoc all game, no need to have Zach (a crappy blitzer) charging in every down while Johnson is making our secondary looking like a college pick up group. A shutdown corner and a cover safety would turn this D into a group worthy of being in the top of the NFL.

Im not even going to get into the O plays again. Just hideous. And for those saying it was culpepper, it wasnt. Those were called and designed short plays. Over and over and over and over and over again. I was screaming "Why?" After one by the fourth quarter, as were all the dolphins fans around me.

I agree also we are predictable on offense just like the wanny day's not as bad though the d lacks pass rushing linebackers and good db's other than allen

you said it right there, nothing more should be said except for the fact that we need to play with more heart, besides that nothing else should be said.

For Ronnie Brown- BY FAR our best player on offense this year not named Wes Welker- to touch the ball 12- TWELVE ****ing TIMES... I have absolutely ZERO explanation for that. None.

I agree with some of what you said, but I don't totally blame Mularky. He has his own way of offense, and Saban expects him to learn a new system! Am I the only one who thinks that is just a little outrageous? He has never coached this system, he doesn't know what plays to call. I say if you are gonna hire him as an offensive coordinator let him do the coaching, instead of making him learn the system. Saban really need to undersatnd this isn't college anymore! Also, I personally believe that Saban's defense is way too complicated. When two of the smartest players are confused by his system, then something is wrong. 4-3

It is so precise that if someone barely gets out of posistion they are gonna give up a big play. The coaching really is the only problem I see. Notice the players acting like it is just another practice? No inspiration at all...THIS FALLS ONTO THE COACHES SHOULDERS!!!
