I like Ireland.

I think the playmaker thing gets equated with the offense. But the defense is solid. They sucked early on last year and were out of shape. The offseason caused alot of crap IMO where high powered offenses were already to deal with it where anyone starting out with new coaching, players, system, ect.had much tougher times getting going.

The biggest thing is obviously QB. There has to be a QB in this thing, and if Tannehill is our guy and we take him at 8, there should not be much disgust with people. Obviously the QB postion is the biggest void over the last 10+years.

People were pissed about not getting Mallett, but lets face it, most teams in the league avoided him. Ireland not taking that risk last year was good IMO. But I also stated last year that this year we need to do something at this position or else....This is it for Ireland w/ the QB spot like Henne had his last chance this year.
 
I'm ok with Ireland's draft picks, but he needs to deliver a QB or gtfo. While his drafting has been decent, his FA acquisitions have been terrible. I'm happy we didn't sign any FA players this year. Ireland wants to build through the draft, and get high character players, and I can get behind that philosophy.

Dansby who is underrated around the internet world.

Reggie Bush who appears to be hitting his prime.

Jared Odrick 1st round pick injured year 1, yr 2 rotates and looks promising.

Keeping Solia from the previous regime and has turned into a stud.

Wake from CFL TOP 5 pass rusher.

Jake Long

Mike Pouncey looked impressive....altho I still worry about fumbled snaps. Not sure if that was Moore or Pouncey.

Sean Smith still has tons of potential. As long as he keeps his head straight he will be fine. How hard he works will go into how good he can become.

Charles Clay looked very good when the oppurunities were there.

I could keep goin with very good pieces on this team. Talent is here and I feel comfortable giving Ireland more shots to find the QB. We will find out if Philbin has it.

Many non Dolphin fans told me last year, man they got a good team. Henne/Sparano wasnt the guys to lead the team. I trust Ireland to find the ones.

Ireland keeps it real. He just dont like talking about it to the media.

OK, you like players Ireland has brought in. But do you like Ireland the man as a person. People's relationship with their superiors in an organization is paramount to their success. If you don't like and/or respect the people you are working for, it will fail. Even success can only keep a bad situation alive so long. With no success you are doomed. Employees have options. One of them is to join up with some different folks.

Ireland keeps it real? And how exactly does he keep it real, as opposed to keeping it extremely fake? Haha could not possibly disagree with you any more
 
Ireland reminds of the kid in school who is smart but tremendously lacking in terms of personality. The type that goes on to be a CPA or a Ph.D. who rarely leaves the lab.

How to solve the issue w/ Ireland & the FO.

Keep Ross visible, silent, & flexible with the $$$, Keep Ireland invisible and silent.

Let Philbin be the face & voice of the organization. How often do we hear from Jerry Reese, Kevin Colbert, Ted Thompson, or Ozzie Newsome?
