At 3:11 on the clock check out Miller, is that balance or what???

That play you're talking about against Ohio State is the loudest I've ever seen that stadium since we moved in there.

Place was nuts that night.

Good chance this kid ends up being the best player from this draft for us. Great pick.

Didn't he hurt his shoulder mid season ? I know you know this team inside out.

I think he'll do well as a runner in the ZBS but really he's got a lot more to learn at the RB position than Tannehill does at the QB position. His pass blocking is not good at all and there were times he almost got Jacory Harris killed last season. His shoulders are a concern, have been since he played at Killian High and doesn't do a very good job of squeezing through a crease in the line, rather bouncing around looking for a big hole to run through. He has great potential but he should have stayed in school another year.

It will be good for him to learn behind Bush and Thomas for a year though and fill in as a return man in the mean time.

That shoulder is busted man. I hate it because he's a damn good kid who has overcame a lot. He's a 'Cane to the core. When we recruited him he didn't even want to take other visits because he knew he was coming to Miami. Didn't try to improve his scout ratings by participating in high school All American games or anything. He's the reason Bryce Brown left Miami after Bryce seen what Lamar was capable of.

But that shoulder is ruined. That shoulder is why he left so early. He knew he wouldn't make it thru a full college season and he wanted to get paid. Can't say I blame him. But he loves Miami and he'll love playing for the Dolphins. If it wasn't for the shoulder I would love this pick. He's shifty. Elusive. Elite speed. He's a threat from anywhere on the field.

I just think that after he takes a few good licks from the big boys he's not going to be very productive.

Exactly. That is essentially what Ireland said in his presser. He said he will be a return guy and get worked into the rotation as Philibin sees fit...but obviously I would imagine he wont be asked to do much blocking this year until he learns what he is doing.

All we need is one good shoulder and his legs...we can always teach him how to slide

he isnt a quarterback, hes shoulder doesnt have to be perfect for him to be dominate.

He's RB with a bum shoulder. What is the most violent position in the game that takes the biggest and most violent hits? RB. This is a concern. Less than 100% shoulder means he can't hold onto the football like he normally would. This is a risky risky pick. You'll get two decent years out of this kid.
