Same here. But at the same time I’d rather have Hill than someone we hope is good.
I’m thrilled. Our first round picks generally disappoint. What’s Iggy up to? Will Austin Jackson even make the squad? Charles Harris anyone?
Yeah yeah - Waddle and Phillips last year. I get it. But that means Grier is due for about 5 clunkers in a row so if it were me I’d trade our 1st every year for a good to great starter at a position of need.

for a flat second and then I’ll be over it. Ive been a fin fan since 1979 and this is the biggest offseason ever. And not just because of the Hill acquisition, but because of the all the additions and resignings before Hill. This GM had a plan and they executed it to a T. Every move and every signing made perfect sense
I kinda hope not. I like the idea of stacking the team for this season and retaining both no 1s next year.

When we signed Hill, all my excitement for football that I lost the past 3 years has come back full force! I can not wait for the season to start now. We actually have a respectable team again. Its been such a long time since we had talent like this.
If it was a top 10-15 pick I might miss having something to look forward to in the draft but honestly I don't trust Grier to make a good pick at 29 especially if an OL was on the table.

Yeah, draft night is always fun for my family. Will be different this year for sure. Maybe we trade back into the 1st or 2nd, but I hope we don't. Would be fun though if they announced again before the 29th back, "Oh and by the way, Tyreek Hill is a Miami Dolphin!" =)
I felt the same way. Had this sinking feeling we would have taken an OL there - who in turn winds up another “guy” like we’ve drafted over and over. I’d trade the 29th overall pick for a player of Hill’s caliber every year if I could.
Well to be fair, we have been a little spoiled with picks the past few years and probable deserved a break

Not at all bothered about the lack of draft. In truth, we used those picks to pick Hill. If he plays up to his ability, that'll be a terrific ROI.
Converting draft picks to starters is what it's all about. This year we did some of ours in advance, that's all. Good all around.
