What happened this weekend was absolutely ridiculous. I understand that sometimes technology just simply malfunctions, but come on now. I also understand that you guys are probably getting a lot of complaints, but it pissed me off to no end. The fact that the place I go to for Dolphin news was down during free agency was frustrating because i had to rely on nfl.com and bspn which frankly, aren't very good for Dolphin news. I hate to ***** and nag like this, but it was flat out ridiculous.

I appreciate your frustration. The simple fact is that the site is made to support so only so much volume. When a server gets overwhelmed it blacks out or crashes. The volume this weekedn was way beyond what was expected or planned for. The hosting company has been Keebali Media and they are overseas so the reaction time was slow. This problem is being solved this week with me re-purchasing the site and bringing it back to a local hosting company and putting it on dedicated servers (see "Site News" post in main forum for more details. Although I appreciate your "Nag" if you want to help and be constructive then I ask you to please donate. It will cost the site thousands of dollars to provide the support you are expecting and that we will deliver. It has to be paid for. And while ads help they don't cover it all. So we are going to do our part and improve the backend. I hope you and others do their part and donate and support the site so we can keep the place strong for the year ahead.
