they are finally doing what is logical and right rather than what is emotional

keep your young players that still have upside

lets the aging players walk

sign young, ASCENDING players in free agency

collect draft picks

play younger players

keep building a solid foundation of young talent


i like the eric green signing, as well as the rest of the free agent class. you must have a base of young talent to make any kind of run. the players have to grow together and achieve both successes and failures together.

this is a young, tough team that no one will want to play. even though we have a hard schedule next year (or so it seems now), i think we beat any team in the league if we are on our game.

draft some secondary help, pass rushers, line fortification, and maybe 1 or 2 offensive play makers if they are good value - and see how good we can be in 2 years.

I agree, very refreshing to have people who know what they are doing after the past 8 or so years of incompetance.
 
i feel the same about this FO's,yes there r gonna be some miss here & there but over all some nice youth movement,thats what i see and im luving it!!!!!
 
i hate that name the trifectia. makes me sick. sounds gay. really.

I like this post. I don't agree with it or its insulting tone, but I'm glad someone made something like it. Dissent can be important. This place already has too much stroking of one another.

Anyway, no offense to this thread which I agree with and think is well expressed, I just cant help thinking it would be funny if this rhetoric gets flipped upside down by the trifecta trading away some draft picks for veteran players and then inevitably someone will start up another "i love the trifecta" type thread where they say they love their plan to "bring in veteran leadership" " get the most value for our draft picks" "love the aggressive, active FO" etc.

It should be "Pick Three".

Trifecta is 1,2 & 3. Pick Three is winner, winner & winner!
