I met Floyd Little tonight, he said "peyton manning is a rolls royce with no gas."

It depends, what year Rolls Royce is it? I would take a 2012 Rolls Royce with an empty take anytime.

why would you do that? you still wouldn't go any where. you need someone who will make it to the finish line.

So I'm honered to say I met Hall Of Fame running back Floyd Little tonight, he spoke at a St. Judes charity dinner, he actually was wearing his HOF jacket and I took a picture with him, I stared at his jacket for a good few seconds lol there are only 258 of those jackets in the whole world so I was pretty privileged to be standing next to one. Well anyway, he was very personable and we spoke for a good 2 minutes and I told him I'm a diehard Phins fan and asked him how he felt that the Bronco's signed Manning, Floyd played for the Broncos his whole career and his name is right next to Elway's on the ring of fame in the stadium, but he he thinks it was a horrible move that the Bronco's got Manning and he is dissapointed in "John" and he called "John" and tried to talk him out of it, I'm sure he means John Elway, he said it's a good thing the Dolphins didn't get Manning because Manning is a "rolls royce with no gas." He said to give a 36 year old QB coming off 4 neck surgeries $96 million is insane, he also said if Manning doesn't win a Super Bowl then the Broncos just flushed $96 million down the drain. I figured I would share this with you guys, I thought it was pretty cool that I got to discuss the Dolphins with an NFL HOFer and legend.

I think Floyd pretty much nailed it down with this quote...In the end, you have to ask yourself, Does Peyton Manning still have what it takes to win a superbowl? I know he can sell tickets, make your team better, take you to the playoffs every year, yada yada yada....But can he win you a SuperBowl at this age?

It took him 8 seasons to finally win a superbowl and that was at his prime...he's been to the Superbowl twice in his 12 year career and is 1-1 in superbowl appearences (all pre-injury).

Now add a serious injury to Manning and, again, you have to ask yourself, are you paying him $96 million cause he can win you a superbowl or just because he is Peyton manning?
