I work as a valet/bellman at a resort here in Orlando. (Can't really say which one because one of you guys might be a creepy spy who will get me canned for interacting with a celebrity, which is a huge no-no). My friend asked me if anyone played for the dolphins named Shelton. He said he just checked someone in who was huge, and had a Dolphins sticker on his beamer. When he asked him if he went to the Dolphins games, the guy said "yeah, all of them". I kept an eye out to see if it was L.J. Shelton, and sure enough he came down for checkout this morning and I recognized that it was in fact him. I went up to him and shook his hand right away. I know everyone always talks about how "down to earth" these guys are, but he really was one of the nicest most humble guys ever. He seemed really flattered that I recognized him, and he talked to me for a good few minutes. I told him he was looking good our there, and he thanked me a lot, and told me about how he was heading back down to get ready for practice tomorrow. The best part was when I asked him if he was ready for Thursday, and he said "oh yeah" like coming out and dominating was a sure thing. The cool thing was he even went out of his way to find me again and say goodbye before he drove off. I'd been waiting a while to get Dolphin in our hotel, and I'm glad it was Shelton. My confidence for Thursday increased tenfold after our conversations.
