Forgive me for bringing it up, and don't get me wrong, I think we'll be fine and also that Ronnie will be fine. However, let us not forget that RW was the main reason we won the final 6 games last year. The guy was a machine, and it didn't matter how mediocre the line in front of him was. That being said, I don't think he'll play another down for us.

I miss him too. He's vastly underrated. I honestly think he will be back next year. Saban loves the guy, and has always supported him 100% even after his latest ordeal.

Ricky wouldn't of done any better than Ronnie Brown tonight with the terrible line play. If he comes back i'll support him but I think Ronnie is the guy.

i miss ricky also..but hey, we have to stand by ronnie right now and this year..hopefully ricky comes back next year and we can have the R & R in the backfield again

Disagree. Ricky is much better on the outside. Pittsburgh is tough up the middle, where Ronnie will make his living, a successful one at that. Ricky would have have been a nice change of pace, taking tosses to the outside.

If you're saying that Ricky is faster than Ronnie you're wrong my friend. Ronnie is all you could ask for in a back. Big, fast, shifty. I'm completely content with Ricky not being back. I think Ronnie will be much appreciated once he shows what he can do with the extra carries. I think you all will soon agree. I believe the guy's gold, and a much better reciever aswell. Ricky wasn't bad, I'm not bashing the guy. I'm just saying that Brown is perfectly capable of getting the job done. The line was poor tonight, with better play we should see some improvement in the running game.

im saying ricky is faster than ronnie. maybe not in a forty, but on that field ricky flys, whereas ronnie dances and is slow going through holes.

i wish wish wish we would sign najeh davenport. not to replace ronnie, but to be a physical back and loosen up defenses. ronnie plays soft

Ronnie plays soft? Don't think so. Just that RW is more effective on the perimeter.

Does anyone know what Ricky's stats were in his first two years with the Saints. He was definitely more hyped up than Ricky (By far) with all the **** Ditka had to give up to give him, and then he was considered a dissapointment because most people didn't feel he played as well as he possibly could. Now look at him when he came over to the Fins in 2003 - Instant Stud.

I think Ronnie Brown will reach the same status, he just needs time to adjust to being the #1 feature back and learn the NFL.

Ricky would've been able to take a few blows from Ronnie because getting hit at the line by 3 guys may add up towards the end of the year if it continues.

He wants to be a HC In CFL!!

i guess he loves it there!! Im just happy that Ricky had 2 great seasons with us

Wasnt worth the draftpicks.

I said the same thing at one point last night but I would not trade Ronnie for Ricky ever. Ronnie is our future and when the line gels he will show everyone why we got him.
