I must ask the question now....

ok, so we all know we're still tied for first place....but I must ask the question....Is the upcoming game against the Ravens a "must win"? ....Personally, I think as far as making the playoffs ,no, a loss to the Ravens wont "officially" hurt our playoff chances, but if we lose to the Ravens, it will go to show what kind of a shot we have at making the playoffs....and in Reality I do see this game as a "must win"....If this team is gonna have any kind of shot to make it to the big show this year, the turning point will have to be now....If we lose, with a .500 record, and losing to 2 awful teams, I will be this much closer to throwing in the towel....If lucas is gonna turn this thing around it has to be this week, if we see the same old Lucas then its gonna be loooooong wait till next season......Yes, our team has us spoiled to the point were a .500 record is unnacceptable....But thats clearly becuz we rarely have losers on our team...and much less important ones...If Lucas is out to prove the world wrong, it will have to be this week.....or he can kiss his QB dreams good-bye.
 
I think we must win at least one of the two game in Miami w/o Jay to end up at 6-5 and then hope Jay can go ab the Bills and we can beat the Bills, Chic, Minny and Oak to end up at 10-6
 
I think if we can win this week we can use it as a springboard for the next game against SD. We need somthing to start building on to get this team out of it funk that its in.
 
When was the last time the Phins had a 4 game losing streak?
 
Good question: not counting the replacement games in 82 I don't remember any 3 game streaks till now

I knew it was '93 just forgot how many - my brain has subconsciously tried to erase those bad memories of Marino's achille injury year
 
And we also have to remember that even Fiedler needs his space for losing some games...sure it would be great for him to come in and win all of his games (which isnt impossible)...but I just dont see it happening I see him losing at least 1 game :( ....another reason why I see it as a "must win"
 
This is definately a must win game. Not for the playoffs but for the moral of this team. Watching them play they do good, and when the first turnover happens you can almost literally see the life get sucked out of everyone on offense and defense. When Chambers made the touchdown grab the camera showed a shocked Jason Taylor get ready to go on defense. The look was like OH MY GOD WE SCORED!! Once that play was reversed it was over.

Lucas needs this game BADLY if he has any hope of playing in the NFL after this season. It might not be a MUST win for Miami, but it sure as hell is for Lucas. He is back at home and if he can't get it done now, he needs to be benched. Sage can't be this bad!!
 
i believe this is a must game...we wont have jay back til the buffalo game at the earliest...if we win this game it will do wonders for the teams confidence...we are only 1 game out of the top spot for the afc...
 
Also witht he AFC west being pretty tough....Miami must win one of the next 2 or we may see Raiders Chargers and Broncs go to playoffs
