In the days leading up to Cam Cameron's hiring as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins, I read what everyone else read about Coach Cameron's record at Indiana and his stud filled roster with the Chargers. It raised some doubts in my eyes. But after listening to him speak about his plans for the Dolphins and hearing the truth and conviction in his voice, I think Coach Cameron will be a very good fit for the Dolphins. His attacking style of offense is a type we've never had here. Listen to what he said, "Our goal will be to get the ball in the endzone on every play." That is a far cry from Dave Wannstedt and Nick Saban's "Play not to lose" philosophy.

So welcome, Coach Cameron! You are a breath of very fresh air to us Dolphins fans! And by the way Mr. Huizenga, great job!

I think until we solve the QB position, no matter who that may be, you won't like our coach very much, no matter who that may be.

feelthepain, I love you bro, and Ronnie Brown is by far my favorite football player.

But please, for the love of God, get that auburn CRAP off of your signature. :barf:

It takes a pretty big man to admit his mistakes, well said

Dude I'm a Canes fan, so the sig wasn't because I love Auburn, but that was an awsome pic of Ronnie and I had to use it. Tell you what, my next sig will be of Travis Daniels in his college uni, good enough?

Cool, but it doesn't even have to be Travis Daniels.

Just anything NOT AuBARN.

Congrats on a good coach. Now that being said, lets see what he does before handing out any awards. When Saban got the job, there were similar posts from several loyal fans.

Give me a break.

The media speech when a new coach is hired is ALWAYS replete with inpsirational rhetoric about the commitment to winning and aggressive scoring. Who the heck ever got hired as a head coach, faced the cameras and anounced "I have a commitment to losing. I don't want to have an aggressive offense or score a lot of points.".

Seriously, they ALL say the right things and everyone knows how to win and can verbalize it.

Now let's see him go DO it.

The last few coaches we've had couldn't. And a guy with his record doesn't look any more likely to, despite pouring the same honeyed-words in our ears and the desperate fans suckling eagerly at the teat of welcome wagon bluster. Maybe you think a coach who can't win in College will dominate the NFL, but I don't.

Thank God we still have Capers as defensive co-ordinator.

My hope is that with Cam Cameron being a talented Offensive Co-ordinator (which he is) and with Capers in the fold, they hired Cam on the understanding that he may need to step down to OC once Coach Cowher or his equal is willing to come to the Phins.

Hope Cam wins us a Superbowl? I doubt that very much though I'd LOVE to be wrong.

Dude I am ALL for seeing Auburn stuff after Saban jumped to 'Bama.

He made an instant Auburn fan of me.
