I want you all to know that even though we won today I would have came back if it had been the other way around.
Guys/gals I had fun talking smack with you all earlier in the week. The game was fun today but I want to say that I know and I mean this how bad you all must feel right about now. I have had to endure it for 30+ years. It wasnt until last year and one other time that I as a Falcon fan had a feeling of something potive to think about with our team.
You guys hold your heads up as today was just an all around ugly one in many ways for the phins. I've seen it with the our birds SOO many times.
We did outplay your team but I also saw some positives with the Dolphins. I beleive you will be a team that is very stout against the run. At this point I really dont know what to think about your offense because it was pretty bad today. In all honesty I think our deff may be better than what we expected or atleast we thought but only time will tell.
As far as Ryan today. I dont know where his head was because he seemed very inacurate today. He is ussually on the money with those throws and a good thing cause it would of really been bad. The best FG kicker in the league last year and he misses 2 FG's and an extra point? Hard to figure that one out.
There was a play with the crazy catch that cost your team 6 points or atleast I felt it did. But the refs blew the whisle early on them.
I will not lie and will come out and say that I was hoping for a shutout there and believe it could have happend but for whatever reason we decided to play in prevent mode.
I am very pleased with our off, deff and special teams. We already knew the special teams where fantastic and it showed today. The offense I am not worried about at all as we had recievers wide open but Ryan just wasnt on today. You guys did an excellent Job at holding Turner down to minimum gains.
I have to say that our d looked mean as hell out there, knocking guys all over the place and causing 4 turnovers. Would give anything to see our d play that way all the time.
You guys will be fine but its not going to be easy at all. Its surely not going to be aeasy for us as our schedule is sick also.
