I know this is a bussiness but at the same time football relies on so much on every individual. In reality there are no superstars within the team. Every starter in the team provides a depth of its own and when the season starts, you will know if everyone is working as a team. Take your money and bail out and get your contract reworked onced you have done something on the field.

No wonder why we have Ricky Williams right now. At least he's working out fully with the team and doing everything he can. He was guranteed to come in a good football program this time. We sucked with wanny but we won't suck with Nick.

Sure missing practice is a bad thing, but don't put too much into it. We've had players miss camp because of contract issues and it really was no big deal. For example, Troy Vincent missed 3 weeks of camp and he turned out to be pretty good. Dan Marino held out of camp a few years into being a Dolphin and he turned out okay. Ronnie will get signed and then we'll never hear anything about this again.

There's plenty of time to get him in camp. Remember, the Dolphins started before anyone else. We have five preseason games. I'd start to worry if we get towards the end of August and he still not signed. But for now, no worries.

This hold out is just proving how much it's worth to TRADE DOWN if you have such a high pick. You pay a fortune for an unproven NFL guy and then odds are they come to camp late. I would not want to ever draft in the top 10. I'd trade down every time. So you don't get the world in a trade down BUT you also don't have to pay it to just 1 guy that has never taken a snap in the NFL before. It's all a learning process I'm sure for Nick and I'm sure we won't be drafting that high anytime soon. I don't blame the inexperienced agent as much as Ronnie Brown. The agent works for him and he should know how important camp is and that he needs to prove himself. He should WANT to be here with his team - has anyone heard 1 comment from him? I've not heard 1 thing about wanting to be with the in camp with the team.
