I really like Hillard too!!

he is a power back.. something we dont really have... I know its the third team but I've seen him run over a few guys already.

I would think they might have to make a spot for him some where. If he keeps showing his talent someone might snag him up. I am thinking he is the insurance policy if they do not keep Brown at the end of season and/or if Ricky decides to retire after the season. Because I think Parcells will want to use as many draft picks to find his stud linebackers instead of using them in other areas, besides maybe depth for the OL/DL or a NT.
 
i think we can stash hilliard on the PS for one more season...hopefully...
 
I think we need to hold off calling Patrick Cobbs a superstar.

I think Hillard needs to be on the roster, I like the way he explodes in the hole and the way he reads his blocks.
 
I like Hilliard a lot, just shows that what I saw earlier in camp really was something worth noting, whichi s that he's a lot faster than a year ago. He's 240 pounds as well, and has power to him, plus he blocks and he played well on STs.
 
Personally it would be great if he could become a FB for us and replace Polite at some point but that is alot to hope for.

None. Hillard played both RB and FB at Montana. That versatility along with his prowess on ST, IMO, is what will have him making the final 53. I don't just say this from what I saw last nite, but I have been saying this since the start of this process.
