I really miss Jason Cole

I know what you mean

I've quit reading the column by Darlington. He seems disinterested in the whole thing.

Yeah, Darlington is not so bad, but Jason was better.

He is with Yahoo.

I stopped reading Darlington's Q&A when about a week ago, the first question was about John Beck not starting vs. Cincinnati. As in asking the question BEFORE the game. We have had a very eventful month, and still, nothing. Not very impressed.

I must have sent 20 posts in the last month. They started getting nasty, "like you suck at this Dalington". I gave up. Cole answered like 20 a day. This guy might answer one a year.

Plus, Cole was not a dolphin fan, so his comments were not comming from a blind homer, kept us within reality, not illusion...

Send an e-mail to his editor if you are that upset. Jason Cole did update that Q&A all the time. Jeff is a slacker at it. They should just do away with it if he's not going to respond to anyone. I quit looking at it about 2 months ago.

I miss him if for no other reason he seemed like the last REAL writer we had, it's like everybody writing now are just a bunch of hacks that are trying to stir stuff up. Look how many Welker articles are floating around, nobody was writing anything about him when he was here.

Cole was pretty good as a commentary columist. Sure beats who they have now.:boohoo:

I loved Cole's Q&A, especially during the offseason when there isn't much news, he would answer 20+ questions a day about anything and everything....and he knew what he was talking about because of all the sources he had in the organization and around the league.

I'm happy for him that he got to move up in the world, I just wish the guy they picked to take over for him had the same commitment to the fans/readers that he did.

I stopped reading Armando's blog awhile ago, he seems so stinkin biased against the fins. Especially last year. Sportswriters are supposed to be professionally unattached and not be fans OR anti-fans IMO.

Skolnick's blog is pretty good, but it's about alot of other stuff and not just the dolphins.
