I have been thinking and i this may be lame but there isnt much going on so i woneder if any of us had the power to change things what would it be that we would like to changes.

here is my top 3 things i would change.

1. I would love to move into the afc south division because it would be ecconomical to do so .

2. this foolish notion of we dont need changes is ludicris

3. this would give us a chance not to play the jetts which they have our number .

3. a jax vs miami rivialry would be great and it would help dolphin fans in florida to see and suport the team.

5. the the thing i would change would be to go with a aqua helmet or a diferent color helmet so we too can have diferent color helmets for a change the ole white on white is getting old and changes wont kill any of us.

I would also play 1 game in japan an 1 in Mexico but only if it is a road game and in late december.

Leave the AFC east, that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. We are entrenched with amazing rivalries and you want to leave the division because of economics. I live in Minnesota and I make it to at least 3 games each year either home or away. To say our fans would support a rivalry with Jax more is ludicris. I don't know about you but those six division games we play each year are my favorite. I was pissed when they took Indy of our the east and I would be infuriated if we were taken out of the AFC east as well.

Also playing games in Mexico or Japan makes no sense based on your first arguement about moving our games closer due to economics. If you are to cheap to go to games in the US, like hell you would travel out of the county to watch them play.

1. I didn't know the trip to the northeast cost that much. Besides, one the reasons the Dolphins stayed in the AFC East during the last realignment was because of the revenue the rivalries with the Bills, Jets and Patriots generated. So how is it more economical.

2. The notion that we need to change just for the sake of change is ludicris.

3. So what if, as you say, the Jets have our number. The joy that I got from beating them in the season finale and ending not only their chance at winning the division but their playoffs hopes as well was overwhelming.

4. I guess this is a result of our educational system in the United States.

6. I would not play any games outside of North America again and playing them late, when all the bye weeks have been played would not be beneficial to the team.

2. Who says we dont need change? The dolphins are all about churning the bottom half of the roster. Thats why we are so competitive and why our players cherish their jobs here in Miami.

3. The all-time series with the Jets is like 45-38 Jets. Granted we normally have winning record against other franchises, and the Jets do have the Series. The Jets are the team I LOVE to hate, they are my least favorite team, but even since the Patriots cheated, i kinda hate them too....
They might have our number, but we got their number 10, Pennington.. I think he helps us sweep them this year, since we will be more prepared than week 1 last year.

4. The jacksonville Miami rivalry is decent already. At least we are both in the AFC.. It wont be a good rivalry until there we're some historical games involved.. Here's to a Jax @ Mia AFC championship game this year..

5. Aqua helmets would be sweeeeet!!! I'm all about the uniform change.. We have such awesome colors to work with, we could have the collest uniforms if they are done right. DO NOT CHANGE LOGO!!! No Matter how they change it to look futuristic, its going to look cheesy.. New Hi-Tech Aqua/Orange jerseys could be super cool..

6. While we've been the team to play outside the country the most.. (Toronto, London) I think a Miami/Chargers game would be AMAZING in Mexico City..
Really any Texas, or California team would be good. I'd love to play in Germany or any other city that loved their NFL Europe team..

Not a chance Jacksonville makes it that far in the playoffs if they even make it in at all.

The Aqua helmets I think I'd have to see before I made a decision. I still want our uniforms to look like a retro throwback. I've seen a design somewhere around the internet but can't seem to find it anymore.

Economical? C'mon....really? They gave a $6 million signing bonus to Earnest Wilford and you think that switching divisions to cut back on travel expenses is how they more economical??

most foolish notions are ludicrous (not all, but most), so I can't really argue with you here.

I could never imagine a Dolphins fan NOT wanting to play the Jets. #1 rivalry...and you want to get rid of it? As for them having our number.....didn't seem to matter when the division was on the line in December this year. Winning the division was GREAT! Doing it against the Jets made it PERFECT!!

A Jax/Miami rivalry would be....meaningless? that might not be the right word...but it would pale in comparison to any of the current division rivalries we have. And why do you think that Dolphins fans in FL need help to see and support the team.....they are in FL!! This is such a non-factor for why a team would switch divisions anyway.

to each his own.....but IMO, we don't need new uniforms. I for one can't imagine liking an aqua helmet.

kinda goes against the notion of giving fans in FL a better chance to see and support the Dolphins, no? I wouldn't hold your breath for this anyway. Only a portion of NFL teams have played any games internationally, and we've played 2 already....so it's other teams turn now.

I'm sorry, I don't like any of those changes. I love the AFC East, because I think it's best of the best. And for the last time people. It's hot in Miami!!!! that's why they where the white uniforms most of the time. They use the heat to their advantage.

Yes it is still football but you would lose some of the greatest rivalries by doing a complete geographical realignment.

Sure you can probably start new rivalries but the ebb and flow of emotions from beating (and losing) to the Bills, Jets and Patriots makes it all worth while.

I never enjoyed Miami beating a team as much as I have this year. It wouldn't be the same if we weren't in the AFC East.
