First of all we have the cold weather to play in. This will prepare us for New York. But the bigger thing I think, IMO is that if we beat the KC then we avoided the "Trap" game. Then Penny gets a chance to redeem himself in new york. I really think Penny is up to the challange of the New York crowd. Sure its all a fantasy right now but Can you imagine the bashing favre will take if he looses that game? And hell, if we lose we still win. We were 1-15 and here we are possibly looking at 11-5 who would have thought it.

I am not sure if it will be harder to win, but I believe it will be hard to win, given what has gone on in Kansas City.
I think the timing of Carl Peterson "stepping down", and what is hanging over Herm Edwards head because of that, was meant to give the KC Players something to play for. Kind of a win 1 for the gipper kind of thing.

it's no trap game when there's a 3 way tie for 1st with 2 games left - kc is a pushover, not that it will be an easy game by any means - the jets game will be for all the marbles, considering we win this sunday and will represent a much harder game than the game this sunday vs the chiefs - hands down - that being said, miami vs new york, sunday night, possibly for the division and with all the subplots is going to make for one hell of a game...

Dude,i'm with you...i stated on another thread that i don't overlook anyone...it's a 1 game at a time mentality for me...i read these threads/posts on the Jets,and i might make a comment myself,but i'm not overlooking the Kansas City Chiefs,and i'm pretty sure our Phins aren't either....

Exactly. It isn't possible for this to be a trap game when you need to win these last 2 to make the playoffs

I think that if the refs call a decent game then the fins have a chance to win, but we all know that bretts is on the video game cover so all of the calls are going to go against the fins unless the jets just stink up th joint.

You're underestimating their hatred for us and Favre's desire to NOT be outdone by the guy he replaced. I hate them but to think it's gonna be an easy win is just plain dumb. On the road and most likely in prime time with the division potentially on the line. They will be motivated and if we don't bring our A game, we will lose.
