I think Davis will be very good, but after looking at lots of film of the two I think Sean Smith will be better at intercepting balls. He is way taller and rangier which helps him get in front of passes. He also is extremely fast and has phenomenal hands for a CB. He actually came out to Utah as a WR. Davis will be great in run support, but I just didn't see the hands I wanted to. He will have lots of pass break ups that's for sure. If Smith adds more muscle he could develop into a solid tackler.

I also just looked at Davis some more. This guy is only 20 years old. That is amazing. If he works hard he could be a premiere corner without a doubt. He just needs to work on those hands.

I agree with everything you said...smith is fast, great hands and he is already an OK tackler, i have a feeling our DB's will resemble the titans or packers Db's

in all this smith, davis talk we are forgetting chris clemons he was not a bad pick either cannot wait to see all 3 on the field together

Don't really care who catches all those interceptions as long as they wear aqua and orange. :hump:

we play 2 of the best recieving cores in football twice each - id be happy with lots of break-ups to be honest

I don't see Smith adding much more muscle mass...I don't recall where exactly I read it might have been Andy Kent's piece...he says Smith looks like he's chiseled from stone....anything on top of what he is already carrying will probably really slow him down.

I think we did very well in building the defensive backfield with this draft.
two potential starting corners & a back-up & future starter @ Safety

doesn't get much better than that...:D

I have seen pictures of him. He looks skinny still. I think he could carry another 10-12 lbs without hurting his speed.
