I Think Saban Ripped the Team

Watching his "day after" press conference today and seeing how hot he got talking about executing properly, it's tough for me to believe he didn't get just as hot (if not more) talking to the players about it.

Stockar? Boston? Definitely not Schul

Stockar McDougle? Possibly...
David Boston? Possibly...
Lance Schulters? Definitely not.
Heath Evans? Possible but I don't think so.
Lorenzo Diamond? I'm not sure if we signed him to a 1 or 2 year deal, but possibly.
Gus Frerotte? We signed him to a 2 year deal, he's not going anywhere and could be our the rest of the season and possibly next season if we are going to groom a rookie unless we get someone big in FA which I don't expect.
Alonzo Ephraimb? 1 year deal, I hope we get rid of him.
David Bowens? Signed through 2006 I believe, doubt he's going anywhere.
Keith Traylor? Yeah, we signed him to one year deal but he's been one of the best signings and he'll be playing here as long as he go.
Donnie Spragan? Signed a two year deal, been a bit of disappointment, we signed him dirt cheap... doubt he's going anywhere.

I really don't understand what you mean by signing a bunch of 1 year guys who are getting ready to pack come January? Who specifically are you referring two? The two most reasonable players I would think you're referring to would be... McDougle and Boston?

If Saban didnt rip Gus for his wretched performance that certainly isnt setting a good example for the rest of the team..

I doubt Saban ripped into people INDIVIDUALLY, but I am SURE he brought up the horrid display by the passing offense... running offense too.. Gus is part of the offense.. he directly contributed to many of the mishaps. Gus got ripped top homeboy.

The interesting thing is that I remember Zach being quoted as saying he WISHED Wannstedt would rip the team for once. If Saban did it it sure didn't take him long.
