The next Head Coach of the Minnesota Vikings...... if they continue to struggle they are going to fire Mike Tice and hire Linehan...... I doubt he would refuse such an offer...... so sad.

From what I understand, Saban's assistants are paid very well. It could be that Linehan is not interested in returning to Minny now that the best player he had there was shown the door. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part, but IMO there is a good chance Linehan will be content to stay here for a while.

It really is gunna depend on their new owner and how much he is willing to open up the check book... Linehan is making more than some head coaches and is living in Miami... It will take a little more than just a head coaching postition to lure him away...

Nasty

linehan is gonna be here for at least 2 seasons

lets hope that you will be here longer then that. We finally have a good OC and i want to keep him here for along time.

Look at it from the perspective of a Vikings fan. I would be pissed if they fired the meathead and the gave the job to one of his former assisstants. I would want a coach with a big name. Also the fact that we don't have a great offense will keep him safe until we improve in a year or 2.

he does live in Miami...... nice

I think we'll be lucky to have him for more than one season...two at most.

its possible. if he is offered a Headcoaching job no doubt in my mind he will take it.

I was on a Vikings MB and they ALL want Tice fired and Linehan hired.

I hope not. Linehan is one of the best offensive minds in the league and he's all ours!

My thoughts exactly.... sounds like he has some job security here in Miami too

I have heard them talk about Linehan being a head coach in this league next season but I doubt he would go back to the Vikings. I wouldnt doubt it though if a team like the Rams gave him a shot if they dont get there **** together. Personally I think he might be a good fit in St.Louis
