The sign of a good team is winning those games that you are suppose to.

We have come fired up to play the last 2 games against 2 really good teams, we need to come w/that SAME intensity tomorrow against the 0-4 Texans. What worries me a little is since we are playing the winless Texans, we may not be as pumped, however if we come ready to dominate I think that will go along way or this Fins team and take us to the next level.

I'm so excited to see us playing so well AGAIN!

totally agree.Analysts on ESPN and CBS,etc. still are saying they dont know about the Phins yet. This is basically MIA's put up or shut up game of the season so far.MIA will have to prove to everyone that they didnt just catch the Pats cause Brady wasnt there,or they took the Chargers to the cleaners cause Tomlinson was still hurt.Texans have never lost agianst the Dolphins also,so thats another thing were trying to prove ourselves too.MIA has to win this game to get the attention of not only anslysts, but the rest of the NFL aswell.

We already played the "biggest" game of the season. That was at the Patsies. Getting the first win was the biggest thing. All wins after that are all based on getting that first one...

I agree completely as well. I've kept saying this to myself all week, Houston has been a road block for too long. If we have any expectations for this season, 1. We gotta get the W to move above .500 and 2. We need to prove were better than the bad teams....decisively.

We don't know for sure how good we are yet but this is an obvious benchmarker.

The sky will not fall if we lose but the playoffs should become an after thought for 08.

even though that was a big game, this oen is bigger. Not because the Texans are better, but what it could mean for the team.If they lose,it means MIA still isnt there yet.If we win, teams will look out for us on a weekly basis. In other words, respectablity IS ON THE LINE tomorrow.MIA is a good team, but they have to prove to be consistant, like a good team s,which they are. Some may not see how truely big of a game it could be for the young players and especially the vet. to know they could be in the realm of possibilty of being a playoff team, but this game RIGHT HERE could be the make of break of the rest of making it to the playoffs....

In some respects, the Texans are garnering MORE respect (I guess they get extra credit for effort). I've heard some analysts say that the Texans are the best 0-4 team they have ever seen and they expect that their luck will get better this week against the Phins.
I think the Texans have the weakest defense we have played against and I believe we will be able to control the tempo.
I also think our front 7 will control the run game and get to Schaub.
For what it's worth, I also think that at THIS STAGE in the season the Phins are a better overall team than the Colts.

If miami wins this game, they're a playoff team. If they lose they'll be around .500

With Sparano in charge, you can bet he will have them pumped and ready to go. Also, guys like Joey Porter, Ronnie Brown, Vonnie Holliday, etc, who had to endure the pains of last year's 1-15 season are no doubt ready to become a dominate team. I hardly doubt there will be any let up from this team.

Houston is a GOOD 0-4 team, and they will present a challenge, but when they take the field, Miami is the better overall team. This is a game we SHOULD win.

To me this is almost a must win game for us. What I mean by that is, 1st, to be considered a "good" team you have to win the ones your supposed too. The Texans should qualify. 2nd, Somehow though, we've never been able to beat these guys, we need to get this monkey off our backs

Respectability??? From others maybe....

But who cares about that??? The win at New England gave our team SELF RESPECT!!!

If it wasn't for that game...we would probably be 0-4 and not even having this discussion...

If we can't beat a 0-4 team at their home then all the draft nicks should get pumped up for their top 10 pick again. That's how i see this game.

every game at hand is the biggest game of the season through the coaches and players eyes, or at least it should be!!!
