I think this is what many of us secretly wanted...

No, because most of us know there's a pretty decent chance we'll win our last two games at home versus weak teams - and that'll be enough to keep this cast of coaching clowns around another year.
 
Anyone who rooted for this team to lose to get rid of philbin is a ****ing asshole
 
There's doubt. Ross has proven himself to be a fool in the past. I don't understand how Philbin survived the late season meltdown and bullygate last year. But somehow he did. Hell I don't even understand what qualifications he had to be hired in the first place. There's a chance he survives this too.
 
I didn't root for them to lose...what I meant is that if they're going to lose, I prefer it be decisively so that the necessary changes are made.
 
I definitely get where the OP is coming from. Granted I wanted them to win this game but if they are gonna lose, might as well lose big and get Failbin canned

I can empathize with OP as well. This season is over and a big reason for that is Philbin.
 
I wanted them to win just to screw up the Pat's home field chances. We pretty much sealed our playoff fate by losing last week.

However I told my kids this morning we'd lose by 3 TD's. They proved me wrong. We lost by 4. Same old Dolphins.
