For the fewest turnovers by a team in NFL history......let me do some research and I'll be right back!!! :woot:

Fewest Turnovers, Season, 12
Kansas City Chiefs: 1982

We have 10 through today.

wasn't that the strike shortened year? If so, then we look really good. I believe they only played 12-13 games

You are right that was a strike shortened year, so maybe the record is/will be all ours? :woot:

I know that the NFL record for least turnovers in the first 12 games was 10 so we tied NFL history and now that we didn't have a TO in this game we should be close to the record.

KC only had 9 games in the regular season that year but still shows up first on the list in the archives, so to beat that mark would be awesome, a real mark of CP's play and Dan Henning 's situation based playcalling (no forcing it in pass situations)
Full season mark is 14

Wow that is awesome. I hope we keep up the trend.

According to NFL.com the 49ers, Jest, and K.C. are all tied for 15th place with 11 ints on the year.

However, the Jest are the leaders with 22 FF / 12 Rec. K.C. has 14 / 13. The gold miners have 11 / 5 . K.C. is 10th in FF and San Fran is 17th (the fumble recovered on NFL.com also count when the teams recover their own fumble. )

Would anybody be able to make our list of the turnovers we've had? I can only remember int against the Jets and the pick sixes.

If we had corners like Madison & Surtain in their prime our TO ratio would be sick.

I could be reading this wrong, but it looks to me like we have 10 lost fumbles (14, with 4 lost). Chad also has 6 interceptions, meaning 16 turnovers total.

4 lost = 4 lost, period. the other 10 were not so we still have 10 tot. to
