I am convinced this game will come down to game planning.

We are going to find out right away what kind of coaching staff we really have. The proof is in the pudding.

If we let this game be about our LB's stopping the run and our CB's having to cover all day while Russell runs around the backfield, then we will get killed.

If our DL can stuff the run and the game becomes a contest between Reshad Jones spying and blitzing Russell Wilson, then we might just shut their offense down.

Then it is up to our new offensive genius coach to get us 18 points and a victory.

Prediction: Dolphins win by two points.

I think we can too. I have been a Dolphins fan since 1972. I am going to the Seattle Game. It will be my first Dolphins game. It's about time lol

I like your confidence.

We're going to need more than 18 points.

That's outstanding, cheer them to victory!

No more Beastmode, wide 9 will force Wilson to stay in the pocket, none of their WRs are special, double Jimmy Graham all game.

I share your confidence and passion. Seattle always starts slow.

I know Procise is a big back, but is he anything like beastmode? I really don't know much about him coming out of the draft.

The defense will have to carry us early on as the Oline gels. Luckily Seattles Oline isn't that great so we may have a chance if our front 4 steps up. This will be a very hard game to win though. Offense will have a tough time vs this D and will need a big play or two to get the W. That is a complete wild card at the moment. Not saying we can't win but I'd set our odds at 30% to win.

I don't think we are going to beat Seattle...I think we are going to **** their **** up. Pete Carroll is going to be pacing the sidelines, checking his pedometer, just to avoid watching our team score on his team left and right.

Adam Gase will then make sweet, sweet love to every female in attendance.

You heard it here first.

Forget waiting for preseason, you're not even waiting for the first padded practice!

I wish I could say the OP had set a record for premature optimism but I'm reminded of Tannehill's introductory press conference where Steve Ross first asked Tannehill if he had worn "17" in college -- showing an amazing degree of ignorance about the "quarterback of the future" they had just drafted -- and then said he hoped they would be retiring that number someday. Which put him right up there with Huizenga's statement that he hoped AJ Feeley would turn out to be the next Dan Marino.

Compared to that the OP seems almost mild mannered.

I'm not a big believer in karma or tempting fate but if I was making these kinds of statements would make me really uneasy. Sometimes life has a way of finding the guy who's celebrating too soon and cutting his balls off.

From what I watched, they're not similar backs. Prosise is more in the Le'Veon Bell mold (not saying they're anywhere close talent-wise). He's patient with his blockers, slips through holes with speed and tends to wriggle out of tackles or outrun them rather than plow through like Lynch does.

I wonder if Maxwell has extra motivation, given this is his first return to Seattle since leaving?

Russell Wilson has got himself all twisted up with some TMZ broad and all the drama that goes with it. He's gonna stink it up Maxwell will have a good chip on his shoulder. I think goiing to the west coast for an opener is going to be good for this team as it searches for its identity. We won't blow them out but without the beast they won't be the same.

if Brady is out, I def like going 2-0 on the road. Hasn't Seattle been slow starters traditionally?
