The guy isnt as bad as I initially thought...Hes definately not a starter, but hes made some decent plays for us through out the years. If we can get rid of green but keep allen then you know for sure the FO thinks hes decent. He has the speed, and he plays on special teams...Also, we really cant afford to drop him at this point either...We really only have a sure thing with Will Allen and praying that Vontae and Smith pan out which I know Smith is on the up tick. I think Vontae will redeem himself Saturday. But Jason Allen to me is a keeper...for depth reasons and special teams

um we got rid of green yesterday

hes good on special teams when he isnt getting called for holds.. And he is good for a decent play every now and then

With the roster as it is today he probably does get another year to prove he belongs. But if neither Davis or Smith show enough to take hold of the starting spot opposite of W Allen I wouldn't be surprised to see a veteran brought in. And if it comes down to a fight between J Allen and Jones I don't see Allen making it.

IMO we will roll into the Carolina game with the roster as is. If Allen doesn't get smoked, I think he stays. As a 4th or 5th cb, we definately could be worse off.

The Dolphins will keep Jason Allen. Supposedly he makes a great mascot, and the guy who is usually T.D. just got fired.

If they keep J. Allen, which I feel it's 60/40 right now that he could be either traded or waived...it won't because of his special team play...it will because of his salary cap hit.

You don't pay millions of dollars to a special teamer that cost you a first round pick...unless your a guy like D. Sanders or perhaps Hester...guys that can get you points.
