Roy Williams is 24-25 years old,Miamis building process is like 2-3 years long, what about Williams over Chad Johnson,in my opinion,Roy Williams is better,he is stronger, better leaper, and isnt a distraction as is Chad, plus when we are a playoff team,he would still be producing, and Ted Ginn Jr. would learn a lot for him,and become a star with the addition of a high profile guy like Roy Williams....so what do ya say....Williams over Chad?(chad is 30 years old)

Trading a 2nd round pick for either one is worth it. I would take either one on my team. I think their is a better chance at trading for Johnson, but we definitely need to replace Booker with a veteran WR, and CJ or Williams would be perfect.

Why not give 'em JT and swap first rounders.LOL

It would be great if it worked.

I want J.T. to stay a Fin. I can't see him in a different uni then the famous aqua and orange.

yea maybe we could give them Booker and a 4th for Roy Williams i would do that in a heart beat

Why would Detroit?

They'd be getting hosed in that deal.

...yEaH they would.

But then again Matt is still running the show. He must have so great videos of the entire city of Detroit. Otherwise he would be working at Ford washing cars.:foundout:

id take roy in a heartbeat. as long as we werent giving up too much. i dont think that roy for our 3rd straight up is enough for detroit to take us seriously. and i dont think JT and our 3rd for roy is realistic for us. thats us giving up way too much. im not really sure what to do here, but its worth getting roy here... how to get him here... i dont know. but thats why im not working in our front office.

i think they would really our third is really a second

well yeah, thats true. i never really thought about it that way... so maybe it is possible. i hope so. roy is a big strong receiver who makes big plays. we definately need that
Roy Williams or Chad Johnson would be a dream come True with eather one of those guys and Ted Ginn that would be a great WR core

i definately cant disagree. i would however prefer roy williams over chad johnson. johnson may be slightly better and make more big plays... but his ego and mouth really make me think otherwise about bringing him in here. where as roy just wants out of detroit, probably due to the constant loosing, poor coaching and front office, and the fact they drafted calvin johnson to be their #1 guy. roy is consistent, strong and fast and makes big plays, without the big burden. thats really the only reason id take roy. i just dont trust chad and his big head.. however, with that said... i would still welcome him here if it happened.. how couldnt you. just have to cross our fingers and hope he doesnt explode on us.

We will need a veteran guy to go along with Ginn and Hagan.

I have a funny feeling that Keyshawn is going to come out of retirement to play another season or two.

I don't think he really wanted to retire before, but his pride wouldn't let him go begging for a job at the veteran minimum salary.

I think the front office is definitely going to take a look at that DT (Rogers) they're shopping in Detroit that they may end up cutting.
That's a need area for us and that guy is a playmaker when he's properly motivated.
