GUYs I want to come before you to contrite and repent.

I have been in a bad mood lately and i have been spouting off stuff that I really dont feel I beleive in. I have been watching the patriots go after big name players and win super bowl after super bowl. You guys were right about miami using f/a wisely , and it is the long term goals of wining a super bowl not just one super bowl and cutting players. For I now see why some of you were pointing this out but i just couldnt see this because I wanted so badly to become a similar team that becomes the new Patriots like team that wins constantly.

I am ashamed of myself for my outburst and am truely sorry for my negative remaks.

I dont feel like it is wrong for me to want to bring in players like Anquan Boldin or Chad Johnson but I did not aloow you guys to have your opinions and that is why i am postin this . because we are all dolphin fans and we all want to win I just think there are different ways to fix our team and i sometimes get a paniking like mood of domm and gloom .

anyways I will take some time to back away from sports for a month and so I will leave you gusy so i can regroup and i will only post every now and then . So I hope you will accept my apologies. and i will see you guys in a month.

why are you appologizing.. u have your opinion just like everyone else on here does..

Relax man it is only a internet message board! No one should get bent out of shape about what is said on here!

You have a right to worry about New England because they seem to be able to do this every year. They seem to have the perfect formula for using the draft and adding experienced productive vets. My fear is our current FO is to much for building through the draft and not enough through free agency, it has to be a 50/50 split. We have a lot riding on them and I for one want more then the 10-6, 6-10, 9-7 and 9-7 with no play off victories performance they turned out in Dallas!

We can all be happy about winning the AFC East, great job well done! But lets not forget that the Pats, Jets and Bills are all out there making moves to get better now! We don't play SD, SF, OAK, STL, KC, SEA, HOU and A banged up Bronco's. Those games are now TEN, PIT, IND, CAR, ATL and JAX, plus throw in Pats and Jets twice and there is cause for alarm!

Going to last year we had a top 5 most difficult schedule accordiong to the previous years ratings. Don't try and make out that we did nothing against good teams last year. We beat the SB contenders SD, Seatle, and Denver. Houston was projected to make the playoffs and St Loius was suppose to contend for their division. Throw in the Jets, Bills, and Pats were all better than us according to the so-called experts and people seemingly like you it was the hardest schedule in the NFL. Those teams got discredited along with the experts when we handed their ***'s to them. I don't want to here any crap about last year being a weak schedule. When we beat Tenn it will be because Haynesworth is gone. When we beat the Colts it will be because Harrison is gone. When we beat Car it will be because Jake Delhomme sucks and Peppers is tired of seeing 1 person keep them from another SB run. When we beat Atl it will be a sophmore jinx on Ryan. When we beat Bill, Jets, and Pats our of the division again this year I guess you will be saying wait till we play so and so the year after.:(

There would be no point in any of this if we all had the same opinion. It would just be a bunch of ego strokin' And being a Dolphin fan I allread know how cool I am!

Now if only the Redskins organization could make an apology like that to their fans...

It is part of every offseason to want to get better and it's really not that big of a deal. When fans start critisizing the greatest football mind to ever set foot around football and our current players it's another story. I know not, what exactly you are trying to apologize for but I will point out that a foundation needs to be set before high priced acqusitions can or should be made. When your team gets to a point like the Pats, and Giants you can look at FA's differantly. The foundation is set up-front and that is no secret. We cleaned house last year and only have our fronts set with Merling and Langford at DE's, and Carey and Jake at the T's. We need to make sure Smiley is what we expect and hope Satele and Thomas work out and all 3 stay injury free. We need depth at all those position on D and O and then we will have a luxury of seeking out these big names. Lets face it, we don't have anything to trade but Picks and trading picks is exactly how NOT to set a foundation.

Those teams you mentioned as SB contenders were not good football teams. The best team being 8-8. SD played better towards the end of the year. We were an average to good football team that won the games they should and also lost the games in which the where out matched. We will have a hard time repeating last years success this coming season. That's not say it couldn't happen. We could end up being last years Browns. We'll just have to wait and see.

Average to good team don't win 9 out of their last 10 and their division. I can't beleive the way some of you are discrediting our accomplishments last year. SD was alot of peoples preseason pick for the SB and Denver, Houston, Jacksonville, and Seattle were suppose to push for a division title and all were projected playoff teams. This subject is a load of crap. We were all on here last year wondering how a 1-15 team got a top 5 hardest schedule. This is no debate and is just ignorant IMO.

Nice to see you made a post ALL about you! [can not believe I wasted time [2-3 mins] reading all about YOU and how you had a bad day. Please the next time you have a day day? Keep it to yourself [thank you]

Hate to click on your next post and find out? you have a paper cut or a hang nail and you took it out on the forum again.

Really cause according to NFL.COM we had the 10 easiest schedule in the league!

I now when I apologize for minor things like that, it usually has something to do with me being drunk...

Completely agree. SD wasn't predicted as anything but a SB contender. Denver, Jax and Seattle all were suppose to make runs this past year.
Miami and their coaching staff did a superb job of getting ALL they could from the TEAM they put together in 08.

Whatever. Everyone was suppose to beat us and the teams you mentioned in your 1st post were all suppose to make the playoffs. The Jets and Pats we're suppose to run away with our division:foundout: and spent as much as they have this year. If you guys are scared of our schedule:couch3: or don't have faith in our team I have a simple solution, don't watch or waste your time on the season.
