I keep hearing about how Ginn lost the Colts game and the Saints game for us. My poll is who should be blamed for those losses, Ginn or the Defense? Then we will see if there is any intelligent opinions of those two games.

Can I start a Poll? And if so how?
 
well im saying, that in the colts game that ginn should have caught that ball. but i still think he was interfered with, textbook definition of PI. but reguardless my opinion of that game is that the defense BLEW IT HARD!!

saints game, we showed the NFL that we are the bees knees. whoopin the team that every espn reporter is predicting the superbowl for. what happens? defense crumbles. offense cant get into a rythem. we blow it.

The defense lost the game.

So is it safe to say Defense 2 Ginn 0?

Where is all the DEFENSE SUCKS AND WE NEED TO DRAFT SOMEONE THAT CAN MAKE A IMPACT ON THE DEFENSE THREADS?

We have scored 30+ points in the last for games, but have given up more most of the time, DEFENSE is the problem, not our WR's. Dont get me wrong though, we need a #1 type WR but it isnt our most pressing issue.

Of course there is a difference, but what i keep reading is Ginn lost us two games, not Ginn could have won us 3 games, but only won one of them! Theres a difference!

thats what im sayin, we need a juggernaut safety to help our defense out. and a big reciever thats reliable. with ginn on the other side going deep like its his job.(cuz it is his job) and preparing for kick AND PUNT returns. and i think it will bring out a competion for the 3rd reciever spot between hartline cam and bess which usually brings out the best preformance in the best pick of the 3 everytime. and in the 3rd and 4th round draft some lbs to work on for our D because channing and porter only have so much more gas left in their tank.

but this is all liquid courage. ponder at my thoughts:thanks:

Being in position to make a game-winning play and failing is just about as bad as just plain failing. And it's what people remember more.

Ginn wasn't asked to make particularly amazing plays that he just didn't come through on. He was asked to make plays that are very basic for just about any NFL receiver, especially a starting one. In the Saints game, he failed to come through on even more basic catches and on top of that, turned one of them from incompletion to 7 points for the other team (nevermind that the officials got the call wrong).

When you add this to everything else about Ginn that fans don't like it's easy to see why he's been blamed the way he has been for those two losses. If it was Cam or Hartline or Bess that missed those TD catches in the Colts game, fans wouldn't be on their cases nearly as much.

Your right, but other than the Bills game we give up way to many points. Problem is we take 7 minutes to score a TD then they come down and score a TD in 1:30. Its very sickening, I know they are going to score as soon as we kick to them. Tell me that at the end of the Jets game you didnt think they were going to score and we lose by 2.

I unerstand Ginn has made mistakes.

What I remember is our Defense letting the other team go up and down the field like we are the Lions.

I pray we score with no time on the clock, because it only take a team 2 seconds to score on us.

I would take the game being on the line with our Offense on the field any day over our Defense being on the field, but everyone keeps crying for a WR, how about a Bad A$$ safety? Or a pass rush?

i'm not denying the defense needs help, or needs to some how step up. but that in no way excuses the way Ginn plays WR.
