His next snap was right where it had to be. Yeah I saw Sparano giving him that TWO sign. A long snapper has ONE job but it was windy out there. I also think Fields let it go through his hands even though the snap was high.

No way was that Fields' fault.:rolleyes2:

Brandon Fields is 6 foot 5. No snap should make him fully extend, and jump to catch the ball.

He is a tall punter and shouldnt have to jump that high for a ball..
BUT
it did go through his hands..
we all know its the snappers fault but im sure Fields thinks he should of got that one

You can never blame one person for losing a game. You could say if Ricky caught the ball in the first, or if Ronnie made a better throw, or we had different play calling, etc. and blame it on one person, but it's not true. Stop making scapegoats.

The snap before the fumble was nearly lost as well. Two horrible snaps that almost cost us the game. He rebounded strong though and the rest of the snaps were right on the money.

It shocked me greatly to see that. Denney has been a GREAT long snapper for us up until this game.

He would do best to just flush this game and go back to doing what he does best

It was a bad snap but it hit the punter in his hands.

If it hits you in the hands you SHOULD have it.
Unless it's a finger tip deal. This hit him in the palm it just sipped away but it's all good.
Smart move to fall on it instead of try to pick it up and get rid of it though.

Denny had at least tackle of a punt return. Usually that is a bad thing, but it had more to do with Denny persueing down field than a monster return.

It didn't. Fields is 6'5 and he jumped as high as he could to try to grab it and only got a couple fingers on it. That was solely on Denney.

This is getting blown out of proportion. Every Long Snapper has bad games. For God's sake, this guy has been a great LS since he got here. Matter of fact, this is the only bad game I can think of that he's had.
