I’ve been a supporter for years. Its the line, bad play calling on and on. Today my eyes were opened, he just doesn’t have it. He crumbles in key situations and is not the reason we win games. He is a game manager and some weeks he manages it well others like today he gives the game away. I wont even put last week on his shoulders that was a team loss but to see what I saw today, any QB worth his weight in salt gets one drive done in the second half and gets the “W”, not Tannahill, he got shook up and handed the game to the opponent.

Oh well he is the QB this year and it is what it is. I thought gase figured it out the first half too but he went back to all the behind the line stuff against a blitzing defense. Any coach is doing quick hits over the middle but not Gase, he has to do what he wants not what’s availible.

Ill still root senselessly because I don’t know how not too but I am all aboard the clean house including Tannahill and Gase bandwagon now.

Time to come to,the realization that this organization has failed on so many levels to close the gap on the Patriots. The personnel and coaching is simply outclassed for,the last 2 decades. Tannehill IS part of that problem, he was a reach when we took him and he has developed as much as his potential will allow him to. He is a quality back up in the NFL. We need a starter!

I have no problem with people being disappointed with RT. This offense is anemic and he is a big part of it......but it isn't just RT. He certainly hasn't provided any spark or playmaking ability that is anywhere near acceptable, but it's also our decision making, our play calling, our injuries on the O-line, our lack of receivers beating man coverage...etc. It is all just a mess and Tannehill isn't the type of QB that can overcome that.

We have a tough one next week and if we don't figure out how to score some points with this offense, we will be at .500 this time next week. You need on average 3 offensive TD's a game to win and we are nowhere close.

tough week.....

I too am done with Tannehill. Unfortunately he carries a 26 million dollar cap hit next year due to a stupid restructure but Grier/ Tannenbaum so we're stuck with him for 2019. Gase I was never a believer. He sucked in Chicago, he sucks here. He’ll probably get another year too because Ross doesn’t admit his mistakes until it’s almost riot time. Tannenbaum, well he screwed our team for at least 3 years. He too probably stays due to his buddy, buddy nature with Ross. Man this team is going to be unwatchable for quite a while.

C'mon, anybody would have done better. RT melts whenever the pressure gets turned up a notch. He gets nutlock and he's unable to move his feet.

So, Kaepernick is the solution? High football IQ there.

Seriously, what QB has success behind this line?

I don’t think we will ever know what we have in Tannehill. He’s never had a fair shot to be evaluated with a supporting cast or behind an even semi-consistent line. The bad part of that logic is that we could continue to ride this train off the cliff and NEVER know what he is. Eventually he has to be the difference maker. I thought this was the year. We need to draft a quarterback. Tanny is too dependent upon the strengths of those around him, and when they fail, he fails too. We can’t have that.
