I was expecting much more from our Defense.

I agree with you man. Why would we keep blitzing and leaving our suspect corners on an island. We were applying decent preasure all night with the front four.

Yeah, our D didnt do much. And our secondary looked bad, very bad.

Pittsburg does have a great oline though.

I can't figure out why we blitzed so often. Batch proved with the fumble, that, eventually, he will screw up naturally, so why help him in coverage.

Oh well, Batch played out of his skull, their defense was fired up on every play and Daunte crumbled at the end. At least we have Saban to chew them out for the next 10 days. It is going to be a long week and a half...

Ya, they gave up way too much rushing yards to Parker and it never seems they can time a blitz correctly. They also miss on them it seems when other teams always get it right.

I really thought we would stuff the run better and get more pressure on Batch. I agree with the poster above.....we kept blitzing and left our d-backs exposed. We really didn't even get much pressure. Again Steelers are a solid team. Hopefully this puts our team back in their place and we can improve on our mistakes.

It would help if Jason Allen starts playing like a first round draft pick. Tillman is terrible and Hill isn't much of a cover guy, he is decent in run support.

Yo 1..check the T.O.P.,..that +plus the game hype...the 1st full game played by the one's...Pittsburgh plain wore our guys butts for hats...our O needed to have more balance to control the 2nd half clock...they didn't do their J-O-B!

If this keeps up Allen will be in sooner than expected.

Good point... But I notice we had alot of blown assignments especially leaving Hines Ward uncovered and getting beat by their TE... Unbelievable!:fire:
