I will be honest and say expected more of a one sided game with the packers. I liked Tannehill's resolve in the second half, and our defensive players I think did a heck of a job for the most part. Finnegan and Grimes were disappointing, Finnegan in particular had some bonehead plays.

The coaching was headscratching again in the final minutes of the half and game. And I dunno why it takes the offence and Tannehill so long to get into sync.

Lots of football left to be played. Now if we can just get the game management and scheme issues under control I think we can be successful... But this coaching staff really confuses me, and Philbin in particular seems to be over his head on game day.

Heartbreaking loss, but I like the offence, and I'm thinking they will improve as the season progresses... I'd like to hope the coaching staff will improve too, but I'm not confident about that... Anyway, just thought there were some positive points today, amid a heartbreaker..let's TAKE it to the bears next week and get this thing back on track... Sky is not falling boys!!! Just my 2 cents... Cheers

Philbin should have been fired before he hit the parking lot today. Coaching 101 - he doesn't get it.

Yea three years in, I expect better decision-making.... Like I said it left me scratching my head. I will even give him the TO prior to the 4th down play. I am skeptical of it, but if it was needed fine. Wtf was with the clock mgmt and Coyles defensive scheme/alignment on the final play??

I'm glad someone was impressed b/c I wasn't. The bottom line is Miami had a chance to win the game and be 3-2 heading into Chicago. Granted the Bears are 0-2 at home so far but I don't see Miami winning there.

Another opportunity lost in a season that might've somehow had promise despite awful games vs. Buffalo and KC.

We stopped a high powered offense in Rodgers. Although, Chicago has a better RB and TE we can all agree that Rodgers and his passing attack is more potent than the Bears. After seeing how we played against the Packs I am confident we could win.

I don't disagree.... But I did see some positive... Coaching is more puzzling than the players

This is the same script we've seen before. This team has resiliency and they've caught up from numerous deficits against opponents of all caliber, but despite their comeback ability they are mentally weak because they are the worst football team I have seen at solidifying their success and bringing home the win. With the way they choke away leads, I am certain that they had more chance of winning if they had gotten the ball with 4 minutes left needing to score instead of needing to get a first.

Look around the league and you will find many bad teams play better with their backs against the wall than they do when they are merely trying to bring home a win. It's actually how you know they are a bad team.

I don't know if I would say that Rodgers is more potent than the Bears passing attack, the difference is that Rodgers plays smart and Cutler is the polar opposite, so he loses games despite making numerous plays in them. Unfortunately that matters not at all against us because we've gone right back to the Sparano days where there is not a single player on defense capable of generating a turnover and we have players out there to be stable instead of to make plays. If we don't get him to the ground Cutler, Marshall, Jeffrey, and Bennett can dominate us, though Cutler has played much better this year against the pass rush.

I'm with you OP. Although the loss stung because the game was winnable, I'm excited that we hung in there for the whole game against a semi-underrated team. I say underrated because although everyone would easily say GB's offense is elite, many dont give much cred to their defense, but their defense is tough when they need to be; they're not pushovers.

I thought Tannehill handled himself very well today despite the 2 INT's. He moved fantastic in the pocket and really started to show his potential in his awareness improving game to game.
Landry, Wallace, Miller all had good games again. What troubles me a bit is Hartline, Clay, and Gibson (out) falling behind in getting involved in the mix. Clay had a few catches but he needs to really take a bigger role in the offense.

The DLine played great and although the CB's were a bit sloppy, i thought the safeties played well, and the coverage LB's up until the 4th Q did their job.

The reasons we lost though were sloppy CB play, coaching, and turnovers. At least 2 of those things are fixable... I hope Grimes and Finnegan can bounce back from this.

Sorry, but ever since Philbin was hired, this has been the new standard for Miami; poor and/or questionable decisions, and an offense that usually takes an entire first quarter or half to get moving.
