I know most of you hate him, but he really is a nice guy. i work as a supervisor in the craps pit of an atlantic city casino(caesars). Several years ago, when Jay was in his first year as our quarterback, he approached me at work.
While he looked familiar to me, (i had only seen him with his helmet on), i honestly did not know who he was. After making small talk for a few minutes, I finally asked him if I knew him from somewhere. He looked at me, surprized, and said, "I'm Jay Fiedler, I play quarterback for the Dolphins. Your friends all told me what a big Dolphin fan you are, so I thought I would come over and say what's up".
I was so embarassed I didn't know who he was. He was with his brother and some friends and they all started breaking his balls. They said "jay, this guys the biggest Dolphin fan in here, and he doesn't even know who you are."
I thought it was nice of him to go out of his way, and then I didn't even know who he was. He comes into the casino 5 or 6 times a year now, and comes over and talks to me every time. I saw him last night, He doesn't mind talking about football, but he knows how unpopular he was in miami, so we don't talk about it much.
Anyway, just wanted to say he's a nice guy....
