I will say it: Cam Wake is overrated

Don't get me wrong, when he is on, he is on, and unstoppable. However, there have been too many games where why the guy has been a complete non-factor-- especially against the upper-echelon teams. He is good player but far from elite. His inability to get any sort of pass rush -- against a weak offensive line -- in this game is a big reason we lost. Complete liability against the run as well. It hurts me to post this, because he is my favorite Dolphin player, but it is the flat out truth.

Did he even play today? Games like today are when u earn your money, and he always comes up small in games like today.

he has elite talent but far from an elite player or game changer. he routinely disappears in big games. You will find plenty of threads about it over the years.

Everyone was on the sideline suffocating from the altitude. Philbin is a moron. They should've taken a plane to CO the minute the Thursday game ended.

Did you guys watch the same game I watched? He was doubled a lot. They also had multiple players give him a shot before releasing. Add the altitude factor and he ran out of gas at the end.

We should just have brought hyperbaric Chambers with us. Excuses,, excuses.

Please don't make excuses for him. Every player had to deal with the altitude.

Wonder if reggiewhite, Bruce Smith, (shall I continue?), ever faced a double team?

I cometely agree. He dissapears when it matters.. I love the guy but all he does is run around the tackle and hope the qb takes a deep drop

At the end of day. you just can't outrun Father time. Considering the depth at DE maybe it's a good time to consider moving Wake and getting an impact player at another position.

If indeed wake was eating up double teams, what does that say about starks and Venon?

Definitely should have traveled to Denver last Friday. It takes about a week to adapt to high altitudes. There's chronic hypoxemia when moving to high altitudes, but after a week the body releases erythropoietin which causes more red blood cells to be produced so organs can be perfused to the same extent as if they were at sea level.
