Has there ever been a city that had had all their teams win championships in the same season? I know its not gonna happen (for us....this year) since the Heat lost last night :cry: , and The Dolphins arent gonna be champs this year, The Marlins are playing like ****, and God knows when hockey will be back.

I know that The Boston/ New England area had come close last year w/ the Pats and Sox kicking ***, but The Celtics suck (ha ha).

Does any of you know if this has happened ever?

I think it did happen to New York, but not all in one calender year. 1969: Mets win World Series, Jets win Super Bowl, Knicks win NBA Championship (in 69-70 season), but I'm not sure about the Stanley Cup. I know they have achieved the trifecta though.

The only team i see it accomplishing is Flyers Eagles Phillies 6ers

Philly came the closest in '80 '81 when all four teams made it to the finals.Sixers lost to the Lakers
Flyers lost to the Islanders
Phillies beat the Royals
Then Eagles lost to the Raiders in Jan 81
