We have there second round pick for chambers. I know at this point we are only talking a couple spots if they do win. But at the time we made the trade I didnt know if the Chargers would even make the playoffs so I was thinking that pick would be in the 51-55 range now we could be looking at 60-63 range.

O well that just our luck. Lets just all watch Chambers eat up the Pats secondary and shrink the ego's of the damn Patriots. Im pretty sure most of you are on the same page, but im a pretty big Chargers fan on Sunday.

If the Chargers beat the Pats I would give that pick away all together. That's how much I just want the Pats to lose.

Actually, I'm hoping the Chargers go ahead and win out and end up with the last pick of each round. That way we'd have the last pick of the second round and the first pick of the third round (I believe we still have that pick). Back to back picks would be nice in my opinion.

The best the Chargers pick will be is 58th, based on regular season records and playoff results (assuming they lose). If they win the super bowl, the pick is obviously 63rd overall. Those five spots, while significant is not nearly a huge enough hit to even think about hoping the Pats win.

LET'S GO CHARGERS !!!

I would love to see the Chargers beat the Rats BUT, it aint gonna happen :boohoo:

They're a better matchup than the Jaguars. The Chargers have some players (namely Cromartie) that will make you pay for throwing the ball, much more so than the Jaguars.

Yes but with Rivers and Gates out and LT injured I dont think they have a shot in hell. NE has proven they can ouot 30-40 points up against the best defenses in the league. For SD to even stay competitive they have to go head to head with NE and unfortunately I dont see a gods chance in hell of that happening, not with back-ups playing at key spots

Has it been confirmed that both Rivers and Gates are out?

i'm rooting for the pats, the chargers are nothing but crybaby's and zero class athletes. Rivers is the worst of them all. i dislike the guy more then brady after seeing his shinanigans all of this season, particularly at the end of the regular season and into the playoffs. there is no reason a quarterback is who is not on the field for the final drive of the game to go talk trash to fans. the guy is a cancer and i bet the players on that team feel extremely dis-priveledged to be his team mate.

Rivers and Gates, at this point in time, are listed as Game Time Decisions. Latest rumors are that Rivers has a partially torn ACL.

I take back what I said then....the Chargers dont' have a chance in hell.

You've just described the entire Patriots team......

NFL.com said they were ruled as out at 7am this morning. Now it says they "sit" so my source changed its tune.. If rivers plays then they have a much better chance, but if they dont, i dont see a shot in hell of them winnig

Chargers are better with Rivers, but not radically better. Volek is a decent quarterback, and he had some outstanding games in Tennessee a few years ago. If both Gates and Rivers are out however, the Chargers got no chance against the Pats.
