I mentioned this tongue and check at first but after thinking it over I can't think of a better place to work a trade.

(1) Oakland always loves speedy receivers and tends to overpay...we might be able to work the best deal.
(2) Oakland has a bunch of WR depth that is actually pretty usable. I tend to not fully judge these guys from what they have done in Oakland because it's such a dead end. If we catch the Raider open eyed at bringing in Wallace we could at least bring in some WR depth.
(3)It might not end Wallaces carrier but it's a good way to flip him off
(4)I doubt a trade to Oakland will ever come back to bite us in the ars.l

A match made in heaven. I think he would be perfect there. Hell trade him for James Jones and a hand shake and call it good.

Oakland isn't stupid enough to pay Wallace the contract we signed him too making him the 4th highest paid WR in the game....we are stuck with that contract and until we find a better alternative we better keep him, who wants a young emerging quarterback with no threat at the wideout position...if we trade anyone its got to be Hartline which we should have done last offseason like I suggested.

At this point you hope you find a taker but the return won't be more than a 4th which would be acceptable because you eliminate an overpaid problem child. The drawback to that is that Hartline would most likely be retained.

I am ALL FOR trading/cutting the speed-diva, but ONLY if we are 100% certain that we can replace him with a legit #1. Otherwise, we gotta keep him just to keep defenses honest.

Again, go ahead and mive him but habe a real plan in place. I'd draft a WR at 14. But don't do what Ireland did when he let Long go and put Martin out there. Or when we traded Marshall and made Hartline and Bess 1 and 2. You need a legit #1 to go with Landry, hardline and whoever.

They need several servings of corn in the draft and FA to protect the Filet Mignon under center.

yeah,

thinking in real time here.

Oakland used to do this when a certain owner ruled over his GM. He is dead now.

New HC would not want to buy an expensive child. The GM probly has a year or two to do something or he is gone. Why would he do this? He has high draft picks again. Just get Amari Cooper and call it a day.

for crying out loud.
