I have seen almost nothing from AJ that shows he can be a playoff-leading QB now or in the future. Yes this Oline is horrible, maybe one of the worst in NFL history, but I still don’t see much upside in this kid. He has virtually no experience, not just in the NFL, but in college too. Roeth looked like a 10-year vet in comparison, and he sucked too. He’s thrown what 6 or seven picks? AND he’s been lucky, he should at least have 10 or more by now if it were not for all the dropped INTs. He’s on pace for freakin 30!!! That’s just inexcusable, Oline or not, experience or not. So he’s got a stronger arm than Jay, so what? I know it’s easy to do, but don’t let jay’s failures give us all a false sense of hope. I know many of you want to belive in a future other than Jay, but that doesn’t neccissarily mean AJ is it. I just don’t think so.

[font=&quot]But please, spare me all the I told you so/ “Put fiedler back in,†BS. It’s hard to say whether Jay would fair marginally better, or marginally worse. Either way, the impact would be quite minimall. So he throws 2 Ints instead of 3, but he’ll have one more fumble. Whatever. The point is guys, it’s over. Done. The worst season in my existence as a fan. Jay won’t change that. If The Rock was here he would say: IT DOESN"T MATTER WHO YOUR QB IS..."
I for one, don’t care who the QB is anymore. In fact I’d like to see Sage just for sh-ts and giggles. Just as long none of them are QB next year. Some might disagree about AJ. That’s fine. I’ll be more than happy to eat crow if he one day takes us to the playoffs, but as of now, I’m officially out of his corner. He can join Jay and Dave next year auditioning for the freakin Saskatechewan Roughriders for all I care.

Before today I thought our 1st round pick should be either a DT, OL, or RB. After tonight, I am adding QB to that list. We need to stop patching QBs into this team and draft a Franchise QB. But, the way things are going, we might be able to choose the best college player next year.

Post of the fikkin' year. :hail: By the way, did anyone notice is seemed to be raining much harder on Miami's players than the Steeler's It was doing it in Cinci too...

Well I would chalk this up to unrealistic expectations on ur guys part. He comes in here with little experience and a huge price, yet doesnt get the starting snaps in the offseason to help with his experience problem. The snaps are wasted on a guy thats been here for 4 years who doesnt necessarily need all the starting snaps(not sayin fiedler should be starter either hes had his chance over 4 years and didnt do it). U give him a whole oline that hasnt played together at all that was juggled around during preseason and even still(i.e. d mac for w smith which in itself brought unrealistic expectations from D Mac who had come off injury, to a new offense playin the most improtant position on the line...not too mention last year was his worse year in San Diego). Also a head coach that has brought the offense down during his years here(i.e. norv), but now its not norv its a inexperienced OC in forrester(forgive spelling). We sign a wr that just about everyone in the league had said was goin to blow something in his leg and sure enough he does in preseason. Trade for Booker whos been in this offense for how long? Chemistry is a huge huge thing on offense and really with all this ud have to expect these sorta problems for most of the year. Blame whomever u wish cuz really theres plenty of blame to go around, just dont forget to blame urselves for unrealistic expectations.

Winning a game is unrealistic??? Beating the Bengals or the Steelers is unrealistic??? A QB that doesnt throw less than 2 INT's is unrealistic??? A qb that completes more than half his passes is unrealistic???

If all those are unrealistic, why the hell is he starting??

Your points are valid. All I'm saying is I don't see anything there behind the curtain, waiting to explode. I's a subjective analysis, yes, but that's how I'm calling it. It took me over a year to make the same call on Jay--that he just didn't have what it takes. I may be wrong one day on AJ, we'l see. But I just don't see any shine. Put it this way, any young QB that is going to be a good one down the road, shows some flashes of brilliance here and there. The game could be a complete disaster, but for perhaps 4 or 5 plays a game, you see something special, something that says "stick wity me and you won't regrett it." sorry, there's not much AJ does that makes me think I'll regrett letting him walk.

Well theres alot of qb's in the league that have stunk it up in there first 3 games as a starter. Who knows if Feeley will be something. I dont u dont nobody does. Ur completely right it doesnt seem like the offense is close to turning a corner or anything, but for this offense though theres been a huge turnover of starters and if were to do anything next year we better find out what we have this year one way or the other.

I liked what I saw with those completions before d-mac let him get pasted for the fumble, All im saying is give him a year to suck..he might be the answer, more than likely not but Jay is for sure not the answer and we need to know what our QB situation is going into next offseason

giving him the year is very reasonable, considering jay got four miserable ones. But the question is what about next year? Mia will have a top 5 pick next year for sure. Now you get into franchise mode. Do you pass up a chance at a possible franchise QB just to give AJ another shot so you don't feel you burned a second round pick? I say based on how he's played so far, you drop AJ faster than maddona drops her panties and grab a prospect QB

I was at the game and when we had the ball it was a torrential dowpour in the first half when pit had the ball it was just a drizzle. Maybe we angered the football gods.
