Last year, we had to trade Patrick Surtain in order to get a 2nd round pick. Since we don't have a 2nd round pick this year, do you guys think, if Ricky is cleared of the accusations, that we can trade him for a 2nd round pick??? I'm not ready to say he doesn't any value.

hes not worht a 2nd...maybe not even a 1st day pick at all to be honest with ya.

Considering that he is one strike away from a year long suspension, we'd be lucky to get a 5th round pick for him.

Actual trade value he has none as of right now.

But for team value he is worth 5 first round picks. I don't know why anybody would want to trade him. No second round pick can help us NEARLY as much as he can.

With Ricky Williams we have by far the best running game in the league. One RB who once was and still has the potential to be the best RB in the game and one RB who one day will be top 3. There is no way to top that. Even without a top notch offensive line they both averaged something like 4.7 yards per carry last year. I wouldn't be surprised if they both reach 5.2 ypc this year.

The thought of trading a RB who had (maybe still has) the potential to be one of the best RB's of all time for a second round pick is beyond ridiculous.

i wouldent trade him for anything less than a second. He's worth more to us than some scrub 5th or 6th round pick IMO.

There is no way we could get equal value for him, even with a second round pick. This guys dominates and is still in his prime.

He is worth a second I think...especially the way Denver goes through RBs. It could be a conditional draft pick, like if he fails another drug test the pick turns into a 7th or something like that.

I really dont understand all this waste of energy from some of you guys, it appears to me that the only thing you people have on your mind is " trade RW " I believe that a lot of you fail to understand how much value RW brings to our team. Ronnie is not even close to being at the same level of RW at the moment. If we seriously think to make a run at the playoffs or to the SB, why in heaven you are in constant search of ways to trade our best offensive player?...all this is to funny!

Amen brother, I hope he beats this suspension.

I don't think we should trade him at all even if it was for a first. He is one of the best and making hardly any money. If they trade him then the Fins are one injury away from not having a great running game.

I don't think Ricky has any value right now regardless if he wins his appeal or not.

Nonesense. Ricky Williams is a phenom. At this point in thier careers, He is better than Ronnie Brown. He is better than majority of NFL backs, he just is not accountable. He is worth way more than a 2nd rd pick, people are just so hyped for the draft, they forget about football reality in September. (who adds more value to our team, Ricky or Matt Roth???) Ricky Williams in a Denver or Indy uniform is very very scary. He needs to stay put here. This whole violation/appeal is a blessing in disguise...it keeps him in our backfield for another year. You think Holmes/Johnson was a nasty combo...wait till this year, with a more matured line, and both backs getting settled into the league. And Beasley at FB. They'll have 1K each with no problem barring injury or the unforeseen.

ps. Officials broke policy during Williams whole violation accusation. He should beat this very easily, and someone's job should be terminated for mishandling procedure and violating confidential material.
