Idea for voting

Instead of last years, we vote for 1 team out of every division then pick 2 wildcards from what's leftover. Then we pick 2 teams from the AFC and 2 teams from the NFC to make it to the final four. Then users pick the best/most improved team from the final four and the winner is crowned.

This way there would be more thought put into the voting since people would HAVE to look at each team instead of voting blindly like many probably did last year.

Sounds like a good idea to me... Im just doing this thing for the fun of it... Id just donate the money back to the site haha Is this just an offseason thing? Or is it going to continue through the season (Like we have to deal with injuries and everything)

no after the draft thier is a couple of weeks to finalize your rosters and then the voting is dne and thats it for this year

Voting shouldnt be done until after the season is over. What's the point of picking up young players that havent produced yet if people are going to vote off of last year's accomplishments? What's the point of rounding out your depth in case of injuries if people are simply going to look at a preseason starting roster to make their determinations? What's the point of having a draft if we vote before we find out if the players are busts or gems?

its a GM league based on the talent you get for your team and how you get it on your team...thats. you have a draft so you can best fill out your team based on the talent that you pick. look at voting last year....if your going to take this into the season i can garuntee you that no one will be interested in it by mid JUNE

Ummm, Tampa Bay GM. Think about this, we have a hard enough time to keep all GMs involved throughout the early offseason and you want to drag it til next year? No way man, it won't work. Think realistic buddy, I've been here before and trust me, it'll never work. Half the GM's that were here last year aren't here now. I like the playoff idea though...

great idea but we will vote as well, put in front of a couple of mods and see if they go for it

I've got the format, I would just need for everyone to submit their final rosters to me after the draft in a thread i start. Anyone who doesnt post obviously isn't active and is automatically out of contention.
