who do you want to replace him?

I think either Troy Edwards or Maurice Mann. Maybe Fred Gibson?

Thoughts?
 
he wont be released with his current salary. Probably maurice mann though, he looked decent in preseason.
 
why would Boston be released?

Has this been speculated in any of the papers?

They said that his knee had routine swelling and that he will be back full strength this week.
 
I would like for us to give him just a few more chances before we release him. But I'd like to get Mann if anyone.
 
what the %&$ is the fascination around here with releasing boston? he makes the minimum. this guy is a phenom and at his price is worth holding onto in the event that he ever recovers from his injury. he's only like 27 years old and like i said HE MAKES THE MINIMUM. why release him? if anything, try to get him to sign again next year for the minimum.
 
After trading Jesse Chatman for a 7th round pick next draft, i realized that maybe we should TRADE David Boston for something like a 3rd round pick? Im sure SOME TEAM who is in desperate need of receivers, will give us their 3rd, MAYBE 2nd??? for david boston. I mean look, so far in the season our receivers have done an AMAZING job.....Chambers, Booker, Welker, whoever else we have, lol. I hope we pickup Toniu Fonoti, move Rex Hadnot to Center....and we can trade Seth to the Texans (struggling O-line) for a 6th rounder....we can trade Reggie Howard for a 4-5th rounder....we could trade AJ Feeley for a 4-5th rounder......we gotta STACK OURSELVES with picks this next year....so we can bring in young talents at O-line, Cornerback, Safety, QB.
 
Boston's MRI was negetive and he was cleared by the team doc's and practiced today......

A 3rd or 2nd for Boston?? Did Spielman get another job? We got Boston for a 6th when we traded for him.

a 2nd or third? you are dreaming

a 6th or 7th is a reach..

and we cant trade reggie howard for anything it will only hurt us cap wise and who is gonna wanna take on his 21 mil contract not to mention the skills he doesnt have.. the guy just is not a good player whos gonna trade for him ?

aj could be traded for a 7th , if that
