if brian griese was here now ?

well technically we're a contender now, but having an accurate QB would certainly help

No the Dolphins prob would have lost more games.

QB is not the main problem with this offense. The main problem is most of the players are not on the same page so to speak, and only time can fix that.

He'd be on IR...wouldn't be helping us at all....LOLOLOL

Seriously, it's hard to say...the sad thing is that if he were here and if Wanny gave him a true opportunity, Wanny might still be here...But he is in that 2nd level of QB skills (Kitna, Harrington, Bledsoe, Batch, Warner, etc) that may have helped but certainly could not carry the team on their shoulders like this team has needed, particularly this year. Sometimes you need an elite player/playermakers to step up and we don't have them here on O. Even the guys we have that might be able to step up (CC, RM) can't do it because of the awful production (or lack of production) from the QB position. Could Griese have been the guy to give CC and RM the opportunities, I think so, but it's really hard to say how he would fit in to Linehan's O....I don't think he has the arm strength or deep ball accuracy needed...

He wouldn't be on IR, he got hurt against us.............

That's a good question. I never really understood why he was treated the way the Dolphins mngmt treated him. Especially in light of Fiedlers play.

He would be in a much better offensive system, more suited to him. They pass more down the field now, and he is very accurate and has a good arm. He is unquestionable a more accurate passer than Gus, Fiedler or Feeley.

He isn't very mobile, and seems to lack pocket awareness at times. I think we would have at least won 1-2 more games if Brian was our qb. He is still young and could concievably improve as a qb. Gus isn't going to get more accurate, it's just not going to happen...

With Greise having the year he was having with the Bucs, i'd say we'd be 4-4, 5-3 now

He was here. We didn't make the playoffs, so no!

he was fumbling a lot, and was getting sacked (not all his fault, Wade Smith played horrible after the SD game that year)

Brian Griese is slightly better than Frerotte.....

I think the thing I like most about son o bob is his ability to hit guys in stride..hmmm, that might be the only thing too.
