Is he gonna get cut or traded?

if we draft Chris Long what position is he gonna play?

who is our MLB?

can someone help me here :up: :D
 
I think we will probly Trade Jason Taylor unless Pace can Play DE in the 3-4

nothing, he stays at LOLB. Jason Taylor is the one being replaced by Calvin Pace...as he is rumored to being traded to GB for two picks. MLB? None. We are running a 3-4 and Crowder and Torber will battle it out with a rookie for the two ILBs.
 
Taylor and Porter stay. The trade is just a rumor and nothing more. We'll do a New England style rotation with our LB's so there won't be a true MLB.

As soon as the ink dries from Pace's pen, a good portion of this board will be crying because we will absolutely NOT draft Chris Long. It'll be Jake Long or Matt Ryan if we stay at number 1.
 
THANKS for the info guys I am starting to believe we will pick jake long if dont trade down we also need another guard

Nothing.
He will play OLB, like he did in 3-4 with Pitt.
 
i think the pace experiment at DE failed for three seasons with the Cards.

he'll play SOLB and JP will play WOLB.
 
well in a 3-4 you need 4 lb's so our outside lb's would be pace and porter and inside would be crowder and whom ever i dont really know. we signed Reggie Torbor olb and we have [FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][SIZE=-2] Wright, Abraham but i think we need a more productive ilb for the 3-4 to be solid. That's true, it's the only reasonable options if Pace comes in. Plus you can't use the number one pick to draft a tweener DE/OLB.
 
My theory is that if JT really stays on this team then our two OLBs would be JT and Pace, while Crowder and Porter main the middle. Some people don't know it, but Porter actually played some MLB while he was in Pittsburgh. Its a possible scenario.
 
I know some people don't wanna hear this but I think we're setting ourselfs up to trade JT....Porter and Pace would play outside with Crowder inside plus Torbor or a rookie.....the D-line would then be Ferguson at NT and Rod Wright/Roth at one End and Holliday at the other but if we take Chris Long then he'll start at one end or the other but I'm pretty sure that Parcells wants to move down and that would change who we take.

Porter's contract is too big to trade him or cut him. So he stays. I figure he takes Zach's place at MLB, since we don't have one. If he does move, I think he'll do better than he did last year.
