If Cooper & White are gone as expected Phins will consider WR's Parker & Perriman @14

I'm all about the wr in the 1st round bandwagon, but if we take Perriman at #14 i'd be pretty pissed.
 
This is just the beginning. As we get closer to draft day, more and more players will be said to be considered by the fins. The more players were linked tot he better the chances of a trade down partner.,
 
Rashad Greene is a better football player than Perriman. Most sure handed receiver in the draft and Perriman is probably the least.
 
Jaelan Strong, DGB, Agholor > Perriman.

I'd rank Perriman about 7th amongst WRs this year. Him at 14 is retarded.
 
He does have great size and speed. He is above Parker as far as I'm concerned but i don't like parker very much

I don't doubt they will consider them, but this leak through Barry Jackson has two alternate motives...

1) Drum up interest from another team to work to trade down with them.

2) Hope it makes another team pick them to allow Waynes, Scherff or another player at a bigger need position to fall.
 
I am a fan of Perriman as a UCF fan, but I never expected him to be at the top of the first round. I think 14 would be a reach. He is not only a speed and size guy as some has mentioned, he is actually a really polished receiver who has some drop issues, but yea 14 is still too high.

I wouldn't take him at 14. I'd lose all respect for this FO if they grab him at 14. If they trade down .... Ok maybe it's a little more justified .
 
All the NFL media (including Mayock, Mel Kiper Jr and McShay) seem to have jumped on the Perriman bandwagon and it seems like his Draft status is soaring. I haven't seen a lot of Central Florida but they are talking about him as the next Julio Jones with enormous natural talent (and he doesn't have the bad character baggage of DGB).
 
Pre-draft smokescreen, I think. Perriman at 14 seems like a heck of a reach...
