i would have to think so since we're done with Tommy Maddox and Joey Harrington isn't looking too good as of right now. My bet is we draft a 3rd or 4th round QB if we don't get Harrington

one of the top 3 qbs if they slipped...since Vince Young was already in for a visit?
 
Culpepper will NOT miss the entire year.

Also, I really think we will end up with Harrington as the #2. Millen will crack a few days before the draft.
 
We won't be able to afford McNair...that's why he's being kicked out of Tennessee. Furthermore, McNair is one of the most injury prone QB's in the league. It could be very possible to bring in McNair at a high figure, and lose him early...leaving us with lots of cap penalty and Cleo Lemon at the starting position anyway.

At this point, our best hope is that we sign Harrington. If we miss out on Harrington, start praying now that Collins changes his mind and decides to give it a go for another year........

How much time do you think Culpepper will miss...in light of the rumors about him?

I agree with you Nublar..

We do need a quality back up until Culpepper is ready.
 
Didn't I Just Read C-pepp Thinks He Will Be Ready For Season Opener??? What All This Crap About Him Being Out For Year. This Thread Should Be Killed Now.

The way what's going? All this speculation about if Pep will start. We can make all the suggestions we want but it does not change the fact that we are not the people running this team. I wish all this doom and gloom stuff about our QB situation would just stop already. The season has not started and already we have Pep is not starting the year. Wait until opening day, then we will see what happens. I do not know about everyone else, but these threads are getting tiresome. Sorry had to vent, this is getting ridiculous.

It's not impossible. McGahee missed the entire next season with a less serious knee injury than Culpepper. The injury happened only a few months months later in the season for McGahee.
