That may be what YOU do. Not me. I stay with what's working. If you're 5-0 and the current QB is having success, then it would make little to no sense to change it. 90% of teams have QB controversies. Even teams with good QBs have them. Having a QB controversy these days is nothing unusual. IMO, no player is worth disrupting a 5-0 start. Sacrificing two games for the sake of avoiding a QB controversy could easily come back and haunt you. 2 games is a lot in a 16 game season. I still say stay with the hot QB and ride out his hot streak. If he starts to stumble, then put in the other QB (Culpepper in this hypothetical) to re-spark the team.

Well, if the TEAM is 5-0 and Harrington has been so-so, I'd put Culpepper in. If Harrington is just killing the opposition throwing the pigskin, then.... Damn, that's a tough question. It's like the Tom Brady thing when Bledsoe went down.
Personally, I think I might still put Culpepper in just because I think he's superior to Harrington in every aspect. If Harrington is doing good in the system, imagine how Culpepper would do.

As long as Harrington is doing well, you leave him in there and let Culpepper heal as much as possible or at least bring him back slowly. No sense in risking him to a meaningless and unnecessary (re-)injury.
