If we clean house I think it is less likely we keep our impending free agents. Guys like Miller, Vernon, Rishard Mathews could be lost because of no continuity. How many times have we seen this? I think a new regime also puts a very short leash on Tannehill. I am not saying I am against a new regime and the hope that brings, I am just saying there is a cost for that.

A good staff in place can completely change that perspective.

Dan Campbell is not the guy. The only way he is retained by the new staff is if they bring him back as tight ends coach.

And I don't blame Miller and Matthews for wanting to leave - Miller doesn't get the rock and faces a big payday in FA, and Matthews was ignored by Philbin and his crew of flunkies for four seasons.

All of that is spot on except a new coach will in no way keep Campbell. That's a given because of his place as our interim HC. Honestly he probably won't want to stay either. I feel Matthews and Vernon our most important FA's. I really like Miller but let's face it a RB can be replaced easier than a DE or WR.

Idk, I think wide outs are easier to replace....especially when we are set at Landry and Parker. Wanna keep Miller.

I can see an established veteran HC attracting quality FA and keeping atleast Miller (especially if it's Shanahan).

Mathews...meh. Take off the glasses and watch him run his routes. DB jam him and undercut his route leading to INT. Failbin didn't bench Mathews, Mathews benched Mathews. Route a better route with more consistency and he'll get snaps.

Same argument with OV, play the run as well as the pass and he'll get paid....until then

Go v go go and a half assed approach to the OL have not exactly been liberating for Ryan.

I said it since day one .

They put a guy who had zero qualifications to be a head coach as an interim .

Dan Campbell couldn't game plan against a highschool coach right now . He's all talk , and Oklahoma drills .

I don't want a juice monkey . I want a ****ing head coach

So, dan wouldnt be "good" with a great staff, that he chooses, to run HIS system and not joe philbins? Or is every other coach in the world thats great with a good staff?

Rediculous. Mark my words, you will be seeing a slew of fans begging for campbell back. Right after no one worth a poop comes for the job and schiano or mansweenie is hired.

We have the rb's for dans style. We have some tough guys on defense, just not enough. Bill Billicheck could not have gotten anymore wins with philbins coordinators, lack of depth, no secondary and no lb's and poor guards and qb who cant get out of his own way. And i exagerate on bill not one bit. How fans lay this bummer on campbell when NONE OF IT is his doing is goofy!! We have not lost one single game due to dan campbbell.

But, he's gotta go so all the arm chair, beer pong fans wont miss on all the fun and excitement of a new coaching search. Its freekin' pathetic. T-bum is going drag someone in who promises HE can be the guy to make tanny a 5,000yd, 37 td passer all the while passing on a coach and scheme thats PERFECT for tannehill with campbell and our rb's.

Welcome to the T-bum sports shake era where his 3 year plan can start in any season. He'll tell us then (this year didnt count).

Coordinators game plan, not head coaches 98% of the time. Why is campbell a "juice monkey"? Whats that about? Your confusing him with t-bum. And what players was he supposed to do all this winning with? He didnt build this team, hire the assistants or draft the players. This was NEVER a playoff or winning team to begin with. You got duped and now even the towel boy is to blame because your superbowl squad didnt come through.

Your statement is flat out misinformed and silly.

he wouldnt be my first choice, but I would like too se him stay on as an assistant head coach. Get him some experience under a good coach and go from there.

Cleaning house...I am sure there are a few that will be skyhooked out, but Miller isnt one. He is a must resign, more than any other player on the team IMO. there still has too be a cleanout. way too much deadwood.

Dan Cambo needs to go down to HS and work his way back.. he don't know, what he don't know

Dan Campbell has no business being an NFL head coach at this point.

Fire every single one of them

No way that he stays

in fact if they kept Philbin and Lazor I think they probably would have won 1-2 more games

Kevin Coyle should have been fired after last season.

He should look for an AA or AAA college head coaching job and get more experience.

This team had a mutiny in week 2. They need to make some serious changes.

I like Shanahan or Hue, not a fan of Mora jr or Mangini.

I don't see how Mike Shanahan or Hue Jackson can deal with having t-bomb as their potential boss though.

They should keep the current GM and ditch t-bomb and let Shanahan take the ship over.

Actually they should make the current GM the actual GM first. :err:
