We would have a new coaching staff after every loss.
Nick Saban would have been fired after the Jets game and replaced with Brad Childress.
Childress would have lost to the Bills, because he passed too much, fired, then replaced by Chris Foerster because he only runs the ball.
We then lose to the Bucs because they know we are going run the ball at every down. So Foerster gets fired and Scott Linehan gets promoted to HC.
We then lose to the Chiefs. But instead of firing the HC, we cut all the QBs and trade all our draft picks for the next ten years for Peyton Manning.
We then beat the Saints, the worst team in the league, and Finheaven posters now believe that we will win the Superbowl.
Then we lose to the Falcons, because Manning gets a tipped ball that was intercepted on the 7 yard line. So we fire Scott Linehan and cut Peyton Manning.
So now we hire Wanny, and he brings in his QB Fiedler.
Yeah this sounds a little crazy, but it seems like it has come to the point that every time we lose a game, someone needs to be fired or benched.
We our on our 3rd coaching staff in the last 9 years. A little strange considering we had Shula for 25+ years.
Look at the teams that change coaches every few years. Chicago, Oakland, Arizona, etc... Seems like everytime they get a new coaching staff, they still suck.
Why? Because they never give them enough time to build the team they envision. Instead they scrap them out and start over.
Now look at Pittsburgh. Sure they have had some bad teams, but the owners stuck with Cowher through thick and thin because they knew they had a good coach- and its paying off.
So go ahead and keep whining a crying about how Linehan and Saban should be fired. And how we should bench so and so. And trust me, we have a bad team year after year instead of having a bad team for 1 or 2 years and giving Saban the chance to build the team that will dominate over the next 5 years.
This takes time and best things come to those who wait and have a little faith.
