Do you see us entertaining the idea to trade up and grab Calvin Johnson? We need a #1 receiver so bad, an explosive weapon on offense, and Calvin is ready to be that guy in his 1st week.

He has better hands than anyone receiver/tight end in this team, and we can move Chambers to the #2.

i'd almost rather trade up and get joe thomas, but calvin will make whatever team he's on better instantly

If Gailey is hired lets hope we have a good GM in place that can stock pile talent after all the high draft picks we're going to end up having.

What would that have to do with Gailey?
If we trade up, it wouldnt be for a WR.

We need a coach to totally overhaul this team. We havent been to the playoffs in years, and theres no way simple coaching is going to get us there. We need new players, new systems and a whole new approach.

If Gailey is hired, you wont see me around on these threads anymore. If Chan fricking Gailey is the best this team could do for a head coach, well then good luck Fins. Because its going to be a long long time until we see the playoffs again.

Trading down and taking Willis at LB might be the prudent thing to do, but I got a hunch about Ted Ginn. He may just turn out to be the cream of the crop. I wouldn't trade up. There is just something wild and desperate about trading up for receiver.

I agree 100%,,,,,They must be Joking us!

Chan is NO great Coach and has proved it even at Ga.Tech,,,Where he is not well liked either...

I'm really hoping we go the other way, now that Brohm is staying, and trade down. Perhaps someone is left at #9 that some other team covets and is willing to pair some picks for us. Trading up for anything but a QB seems too much

The thing you've got to really think about is that any "trade up" would probably require Chambers be part of the deal. You're probably looking at Chambers, 1st, and probably a 4th.

I agree, as long as it's done while we are on the clock. You never know who may fall into our laps. Remember when JJ pulled the trigger too early, and Randy Moss sailed right by our original pick? Arrrgh!

Gailey would probably be more inclined to properly utilize Chambers than he would be to draft Johnson. I'm not saying it's out of the question, but Gailey is probably the only Miami OC who has ever properly game planned to Chambers' strengths.

If Chambers can perform, there's no need for Johnson. Chambers can perform under Gailey. Therefore, there's no need for Johnson.

I hope Gailey understands the situation we're in and drafts a left tackle.

If we get CJ then wat WR r we going to cut b/ theres no way we can keep CC, marty, wes and hagan all in the smae WR core
