If Ginn doesn't develop does taking a reciever with the 1st pick a no brainer ?

If Ginn bombs does taking a reciever #1 next year become an almost absolute necessity

  • Yes Ginn bombed and we need a #1 more than anything else

I'd rather pick up either a ilb or a nt
then a recieved in the second. We most likely will pick up another qb cause next years draft will have a few qbs to choose from

if tedd gin struggles with chad henne as his quaterback then theres no excuse, he gotta trde, bench or release him he will officially become a bust

If a can't miss prospect falls into our lap, ala Marino in 1983, then I'd endorse using our first on a WR. Otherwise, we need a NT, ILB, maybe even a safety. WR is a need that we should address sometime in the first three rounds, but it isn't the only need.

None of the above. I'd rather grab an OLB with the 1st pick next year. A LOT of good ones should be available and it's not like Porter or Taylor are exactly lighting it up. I've got very little faith in Anderson, Moses, Wake, Walden, etc. to do any better.

I'd rather take a dominate Safety, ILB, or maybe even OLB or NT - pending on who's available (BPA) situation. But, if we're in a position to take a stud, can't-miss-type WR, we'll have to consider it - regardless of how Ginn performs.

I like the potential in Wake, Moses, and Walden. I'd like to see Moses starting ahead of Anderson - as long as Porter's not 100%. And, I'd like to see Wake more in pass rush situations. That said, if the best player available is a D. Ware type OLB, it'd be hard to argue against the pick.

Wether Ted Ginn has a good season or not he is not a #1 Receiver, he has the speed to become a great weapon for this offense, especially if Henne proves to be our true future qb, What Miami needs is a big, dominant, physical WR, if Dez Bryant is available when the Dolphins are up in the draft, they'd be stupid to pass him up, with out a good WR we are simply a running team, and when the time comes when we need to pass (last 3 minutes of the Colts game) we will struggle

Thats why we should have taken a receiver earlier in the draft this year but of course utility qb was more important

This class looks VERY deep at OLB. We could easily get a decent pass rusher in the second.

Parcells will go defense next year in the first round. Patrick turner and Brian Hartline were taken along with davone bess to be the WR's of the future.
